Is there an estimated date for AE on ARM?

I really love my Snapdragon x machine but I still need my macbook or desktop to work on many programs, like AE. I was wondering if there is an estimated date, even a rumored one, for AE (even beta) on ARM. Thanks!

Unless Windows on ARM takes off the answer is probably never. It's as plain as that. Otherwise I'm sure we'll see some trimmed down version of Adobe video apps on iOS and Android, but mostly based on funneling semi-automated features and AI for simple edits and influencer videos.

The only reason I bought my Surface laptop was with the promise of After effects coming to Arm. It was meant to be released by now, but they've changed the date on the adobe website to (coming soon). Very annoying, hopefully it comes out at some point.

I hate to say this, but never ever make hardware purchases based on a company’s promises. There is no contract between you and the company, promises are vaporware until it’s released.

This reminds me of an article by Dieter Bohn on The Verge a few years back: https://www.theverge.com/2020/3/25/21193076/ipad-pro-lidar-software-upates-promises-augmented-realit...

I agree completely.
Honestly I bought it just because I wanted to try it and see how well it was supported, but it worked surprisingly well with Photoshop and Indesign so it became my main machine, even tho I can't stand the way zoom works on windows. Touch screen really makes up for that tho (for me, at least).
Since I liked it so much I want to switch completely, but without AE...
