Let Lens Blur remember Blur Map when copying to other Comp

When copying a set of layers containing a Lens Blur effect that points to a Blur Map layer, this relation breaks when the set is pasted in a new Comp.

 

I would prefer to keep the relation intact.

This is an issue with any effect that references other layers. I can understand why it forgets the relation, because the comp you're pasting it into may not contain that target layer. But it'd be nice if AE could at least have a quick hunt for a layer in the destination comp of the same name as the referenced layer in the source comp. (Or maybe it could be possible to reference a layer in a separate comp - but that'd be a fairly radical change to AE's behaviour). It'd be nice to be asked, when pasting an effect, if I want AE to auto-link to "layer x", which would also provide an alert that you're potentially pasting an effect that might lose the layer reference:
