Pausing og deactivate keyframes

I wish I could pause or deactive a set of keyframes. That way, I don't need to delete them, if I decide I want to use the effect at a later point.

Anybody know of a plugin that lets you do this?

Thanks for your idea Foffern! We'd love to know more about how you imagine this working. Where would you expect this control to live?

In the meantime, this is a workaround, but if you use an expression to set an absolute value, it will override your keyframes. It's as simple as Opt+Clicking (or Alt+Clicking) on your stopwatch and then typing in the value you want to override with. You can then use the Enable Expression switch (it looks like an = [equals sign]) as a "mute" button.

The expression override works if want to disable/ignore all of the keyframes for a selected property. I think they are asking for a per-keyframe disable/mute toggle. I’m upvoting because I also want this.

Cinema4D has this (see: C4D help > Key Mute). I find it handy when experimenting with different values. (C4D can also lock keyframes’ value or time, which can be very powerful.)
