Bridge

Hi, I’m trying to change the font size in Adobe Bridge, but I can’t find the option. Is there a way to adjust the UI or text size?  

Over the years, my creative group has produced hundreds of custom digital illustrations. We are harvesting those images and trying to create a stock art resource for others in our vast organization to use. We use Adobe products (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) but I’ve never used Bridge. All of these assets have different file names. I’m trying to determine an appropriate file naming structure for a stock art resource, i.e., create a catalog-style numbering system? descriptive terms in file name? Next, how do I keep track of what I rename each stock asset file so I can trace it back to the original? So I am also seeking guidance on best practices for re-naming each file.

I know that I have done this in the past but I can’t remember how I did it. The AI answer says to right click the image and select ‘set as folder thumbnail’ but that option does not exist in Bridge 16.0.1.18.

When I zoom a Webp image downloaded from Adobe Community from full screen to 100% size in Bridge, it appears small.I can zoom to 100% when viewing it in Windows Photos. Win11Brdge16.0.2 

When cropping images in Bridge’s camera raw, is there any option to have a grid overlay?That would be most useful when making a video sequence of shots of s subject that is moving a lot in the frame.

For a very long time (probably over a year), Br has been freezing when switching Workspaces, changing their view from Light Table to Folders, etc. Then only killing it in Task Manager helps. Sometimes it simply shuts down for no reason. Furthermore, indexing thumbnails takes a very long time, and sometimes they don't display at all for larger files. Purging all local cache files helps for a while, but the problem returns quite quickly. Br can also freeze the entire computer upon startup, and only a manual restart is the solution. Task Manager shows two Br processes, one of which persists even after closing it—it also needs to be killed manually. I don't have a GPU in the processor - Xeon W-2255, NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 and 128 GB of RAM, so it's probably not a hardware incompatibility issue. It's strange that the same problem has persisted for so long and nothing has been fixed.

hi bridge has become totally unstable with a whole  series of problems the most common is the screen whiting out and  “adobe bridge not reponding “ warning coming up . This happens often  but other times it doesnt other issues are random slow loading of thumbnails with exactly the same settings/files also  after closing bridge its not actualy closed and still apears in Task Mangager in win 11 and can only be closed manualy that way -also sometimes Brige cant be opened at all and sysem has to be re booted also random  problems  with opening thumbnails into ACR and PS .I ve tried pretty much everything including using the Cleaner twice  no change apart form all that .my PC is working perfectly with out any issues  crashes etc  this is really doing my head in !!!!I have  win11 32 g ram a good gpu(enabled) and  an I 7 CPUalso please advise as to the quickest way to get help with a problem is this it or are there other ways ?thanks Antoni

This process would save me alot of time,  I know I used to use a similar script.  If not, if yall could send me in the direction of how to make my own at this point.

Has anyone found a solution to the blue thumbnail glitch on Adobe Bridge on macOS? Thumbnails on ProRes HQ footage look normal, but any H265/HEVC footage has a blue tint. I know Windows has a solution by installing HEVC extensions, but I can't find any for macOS. I am on the latest macOS Sequoia and Adobe Bridge versions.

I’m working on a folder in bridge.  I create a folder elsewhere - or worse *bridge creates the folder*, but it will not update the folder view to show the folder. Its been like this since I got a. macbook ~2 years ago. I don't understand how this is possible.  Unless there is something glaringly obvious I’m not doing?   I make an export to the same folder creating “jpeg” subfolder. Nothing I do will make the jpeg folder appear.  In order to do that I have to navigate to it in finder, and open a file from there.  This is in bridge 16, but it's been the same for 2 years.  I’m on sonoma 14.4

I uses last official version of BR.This problem is there since a long time.NOW I have NEW informations for developpent team.This happens when you change the keyboard shortcuts for notes and labels.Bridge crashing when you go into “Preferences” (I use keywords a lot for my photos) isn't always immediate. Sometimes it takes a while before it happens.But it only happens when I've changed the keyboard shortcuts (personally, I prefer using only the numeric keypad, without having to press <CTRL> as well, as is the default).Best Regards.DI DIO  Claudio

After update to 9.0.2.219 x64 (Win 10) Bridge opens all kind of files in AfterEffects..psd, .jpg. .indd, .pdf, .xls you name it. ALL.Resseting file types associations - no change.Resseting all preferences (Ctrl+Alt+Shift start method) - no change.Any ideas?To be clear, opening from Windows finder works correctly, just double clicking inside Bridge opens AE.

Every time I open Bridge, I get this box about access/privacy.It appears regardless of clicking either option.Sequoia/Bridge 16.0.2.23

When I have a folder with images that I want to open in Bridge, I used to be able to drag and drop the folder on the Bridge icon in the dock. This would launch Bridge and open to show all the images in that folder. This no longer works. Instead I have to launch Bridge, navigate to my external drive and then browse down until I get to the folder I want.I have a Mac computer running Ventura MacOS version 13.2.1. My Bridge version is 13.0.3. I have granted Bridge Full Disk Access in System Settings Privacy and Security.Does anyone know how I can get back to dragging and dropping folders onto Bridge?

Anybody else miss this?We have "Light," "Dark," and "Chunky Dark" but there's no "Medium" anymore! I definitely miss this. Adobe please answer my call!    

I'm on Windows 11 and all Adobe prodcuts are up to date and Windows.  When I open Bridge or Photoshop and try to do any editing and save or rename I get a "permissions needed" error message.  None of the edits or adjustments to the files save.  This only started 2 weeks ago.   The exact message is  "This file cannot be renamed 'fence'  because you do not have permissions or the file is in use."  

Are there plans to bring Adobe Bridge to Windows on ARM?  Having Photoshop and Camera Raw is great, but without Bridge there is no way to have a legitimate photography-centered workflow. Also, wrong forum, but Lightroom Classic, please?
