How to shade the area between two lines in a line graph in adobe illustrator?

Hi all,

I have created a line graph in adobe illustrator with just two lines, and am thinking of shading the area between them. I am however not so sure how to do it. Area graph would be inapplicable as while the values on the two lines are both percentages, the number base is different and should not be added together.

Would be so so so grateful if anyone can help out! Thanks.

Shing Hei,

I believe one way is to ClickDrag with the Rectangle Tool from the top of one line to the bottom ogf the other, then hold Ctrl/Cmd and press C then F then X then B to bring the rectangle beneath the graph lines, then shade the (bottom) rectangle.

You may wish to expand the line graph first, which will also allow you to let Smart Guides guide your ClickDragging.
