Ouverture systématique des fichiers en lecture seule

Bonjour,

Indeed I do not work locally: my files are stored on the network. I think I found the problem: I work well with an account in administrator mode, but I recently changed my name and therefore my account... The administrator account displayed is my new one but there must be an accessibility problem ... I have to contact my company's IT department to resolve this issue. Thank you for your help !

If you don't work locally - on the drive connected directly to your motherboard - but over the network / VPN / USB drive / etc. - after some recent updates InDesign become very fussy about access time to the file and whenever it's too slow - it open file As ReadOnly.

Where are the files? On an external drive somewhere?

On Windows, what setting is your User Account Control settings? Are you Admin level in your user account?

Click on the Apple icon

Select System Preferences

Select the Privacy button on top

Select Accessability in the left list

Unlock the lock at the bottom so you can change things.

Select '+' icon at the bottom right

Add InDesign (search for your local harddrive, open Apps. open Adobe InDesign 2023, and select Adobe InDesign

Check the box InDesign in the list to activate it

Lock the lock at the bottom again on your way out.

Check if InDesign is active in the left list in the folder Full disk accessibility and the folder Documents and folders

Thank you for your answer! I work on a Windows workstation and I looked in the system preferences but I don't see how to modify the accessibility preferences for files with Indesign. It must indeed be an accessibility problem and I will continue to investigate in this direction.
