This is the embed code taken from a Spark Page project for embedding into another web page.
<script id="asp-embed-script" data-zindex="1000000" type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8" src="https://spark.adobe.com/page-embed.js"></script><a class="asp-embed-link" href="https://spark.adobe.com/page/RY7M3T08tibrT/" target="_blank"><img src="https://spark.adobe.com/page/RY7M3T08tibrT/embed.jpg?buster=1480254516290" alt="Adobe Spark Page" style="width:100%" border="0" /></a>
When I paste it as an HTML Snippet into InDesign it works perfectly in the EPUB Interactivity Panel and Publish Online. Page 6 of this link: https://indd.adobe.com/view/67dd2eb6-62ec-4e88-88fb-8cbe46f99f8d
But when I export that document as either FXL or reflowable ePub, the Spark Page area on page 6 is empty.
I recognize that there must be something in that embed code that is not allowed in ePubs. But does anyone have an idea what that is. And could it be fixed?

Looks like the "problem" is not the epub but iBooks or Readium.
Just opened the file in Adobe Digital Editions and it works as expected.
But it's too unreliable to count as a proper export format.
However, I am impressed that it worked so well in PubOnline.

Try opening the EPUB in Readium. I’ve seen it throw alerts listing invalid markup.

No alerts but Redium gives a preview that iBooks didn't.
However, when I click to "play" the Spark Page, the loading icon just loads and loads without getting to the Page.
I have a feeling that the epubs can't find the path from my desktop to the Spark Page where as the Publish Online project can.

The problem is that iBooks keeps very strict to the ePub3 standard that says that everything has to be included in the epub file itself (video, images, sound etc). That is why things like embedding code for Youtube, Google Maps etc. and every use of an iFrame will not show up in iBooks. Adobe is more relaxed in this standard, so online or ADE4 will work.
