How to transfer both photos and edits in Lightroom Classic from a laptop to a desktop PC.

I use a laptop in the field and download and edit images on it while I'm on the go. When I get home, I import the photos from the laptop to a desktop PC. I have not found a simple way to transfer both images and the edits I have made on the portable PC to the desktop PC. I use the same version of Lightroom Classic on both machines (Lightroom Classic version: 13.2 [ 202402141005-bf1aeb84 ]).
