Lightroom catalog corrupt

I've been trying to get a way to contact Adobe support about my problem and been going around in circles for over 20 minutes

This is not customer support, it is customer Harassment

MY PROBLEM:

1. I downloaded the new Lightroom Classic

2. When opening the new LR it claims that the catalog is corrupted

3. Tries to fix it but fails

4. So I end up with a new catalog and no pictures.

So I'm a pissed off customer who had a perfectly working Lightroom CC, but upgraded and suddenly it's not working

And did I tell you that ADOBE Support page really sucks...

Please fix, as I'm paying you money for this and this is not acceptable.

Regards,

Thomas Meurling

    Hi thomasm,

Please use the Lightroom catalog from the latest backup which Lightroom ask you to do it on every exit. If Lightroom Classic doesn't work again with the backed up catalog then, use it with Lightroom CC 2015 so that you can continue doing your work.

    Hi,

This is just BS, as I already tried to use the back catalog.

And I tried to reply to the email, but ADOBE is too lazy to answer emails.

    Regards,

    Thomas

If you have the latest version of LR CC and I have the latest version of Lr CC we have identical bits on our computers. If not, the fault is not with Adobe. Adobe does not put out two versions of software - 1 that works and 1 that doesn't. You didn't get a broken version. If the software is faulty, we would all be unable to use it. But, alas, it works on my system . . So logic dictates that the problem is . . . ?

Yep! The system, or operator of that system, upon which the software doesn't function as expected.
