P: Generative Fill Button greyed out (age)

After selection is active, I cannot use the generative fill button. It's visible, but greyed out...

I already switched from german language to english without success.. Please advice. Thanks !

Why is the Generative Fill button greyed out if I'm over 18?

If you find that Generative Fill is greyed out for you and you're over the age of 18, it is possible that you may not have a valid Date of Birth associated with your Adobe ID account. To update your Date of Birth, you can do either of the following:

• Sign out and sign back in to both the Creative Cloud Desktop app and the Photoshop (beta) app
• Log into Behance with your Adobe ID and enter your Date of Birth.
• If you sign in using social sign-in (Apple, Google, and Facebook), ensure that your date of birth in that account is set to public instead of private.

Once your Date of Birth is up to date, relaunch the Photoshop (beta) app to enable Generative Fill.

Used crop tool to extend canvas and comitted thge crop.

Used rect. marquee tool to select half of the extended canvas (incl a narrow part of original image)

The 'generate' dialogue box is greyed out with no other option to generate a canvas fill.

Anyone knows why when I make a selection the "generative fill" field doesn't appear in the contextual Task Bar (as show on the screen capture below). What have I done wrong, what should I do to get the button ?

Lorsque j'ai voulu tester le remplissage génératif sur Photoshop Béta il me dit que sur mon compte je n'ai pas 18 ans et qu'il ne fonctionne pas pour les gens qui n'ont pas encore 18 ans. Où peut on régler ce problème please ?

The issue ended up being that I did not yet have an image open.  Should have thought of that.

I just downloaded Photoshop Beta, but can`t use it (ai feature), because Photoshop is telling me, that I am underage (which I am not).

I checked all connected E-Mail programs etc. - all contain my correct date of birth.

the Generative Fill, told me im not 18 lol im 45  whats going on there?

For all... i had to write this because this solution worked for me.

i was unable to update to version 24.6 and got stuck on 24.5 (that has no generative fill) and nothing was showing on the updates section.

The solution that worked for me was so simple as uninstall the beta version that i had (24.5) and then install again (the sistem there shows me 24.6) and now i'm enjoying generative fill. Sometimes the obvius and simpler solution is the most accurate. Greetings from colombia.
