I have the most current version listed in item 1) and I have tried multiple active selections but it when you hover over the generative fill box, it says Generative Fill is currently not available.
It was the age thing, of course. I was never asked about my age while I created my account, so I forced that by signing up to Behance with my Adobe account. After adding date of birth here, the Generative Fill button became enabled. Magic, isn't it?

Generative AI is greyed out even if the photo is rasterized or 8/16/32 bit. I did uninstalled the beta > Reboot > reinstalled the beta. Still greyed out.
Same here, friend. When I hover over the window it says, “Generative Fill is currently not available.” I've read that one has to be at least 18 years old. I am but no idea how Adobe would know my age. Perhaps this is the issue?
Didn't work for me. Says Beta is up to date, but Generative Fill is still greyed out. Perhaps this has something to do with the region that I'm in (China)?
Same here 😞 and to be clear 24.6 m.2181 version , and Generative Fill is greyed out

On the newest Beta release of Photoshop I am able to get the Contextual Task Bar. However, the Generative Fill box is greyed out so I cannot select it. I have tried this a an iMac and a Macbook Pro.
