Presets not showing up in Photoshop

Hi all, I have a problem and can't seem to find the answer. I added a color swatch bundle to the Photoshop presets by dropping the .ase file in the presets folder on my Mac. It shows up alongside a lot of other bundles (e.g. Pantone colors etc) in Finder /adobephotoshop22/presets/colorswatches, but when I try to import them via Photoshop, the folder seems empty. It is the same with other preset folders (brushes etc - all folders are empty when I try to access them through Photoshop) so I am thinking it is a problem with permissions. However, I checked every possible permission (full drive,...) in the system preferences.
