PSE 2024 organizer auto check for new photos

When I used to open my organizer it checked my windows 11 photo gallery for new photos and would ask if I wanted to download them to he gallery. All of a sudden this feature stopped. Did I do something in settings, or was there a change in the PSE system. It was very convenient not to fuss with the standard import process.

Go to File>Watch Folders and check whether the folder where you place your Windows 11 Photo Gallery files is being watched.  If not use the Add button to include the folder.  Any new photos that are added to that storage folder will be brought up in the Organizer to be imported.
