Zooming the timeline (in or out) with the scroll wheel (by holding the option key) jumps to max zoom

Zooming the timeline (in or out) with the scroll wheel (by holding the option key) jumps to a maximum zoom. If I scroll VERY slowly, I can increment out in an expected way. Premiere 2025, but have had this problem on previous versions. No such issue in any other applications (e.g., After Effects). Mac 14.6. Mouse is a Logitech MX Master 3S. Any ideas behind this? I want to reiterate that no other product of mine (including Adobe products) has this same issue.

Hi @Thomas22814689ug7h

and welcome to the Premiere Pro Forum community.  Thank you for taking your time to file a bug report. Thank you for the video reference  could you help explain how you are zooming in on the video? You are holding the opt key and using the mouse wheel to zoom in correct? But the zoom is not doing the increments that you would expect correct? You could also use this document to provide us with more info to look into this if you have time , How do I write a bug report
Thank you
Ian
