Latest Version of Premiere 25
OS: Windows
I am trying to import custom .kys settings from my desktop computer (windows 10) to my laptop (windows 11).
The problems I am facing:
1) I cannot find the keyboard settings folder under my %UserProfile%\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\25 - that folder does not exist on my laptop.
2) When I create a new custom .kys, it is not saving anywhere. I have searched for that file, but it does not appear anywhere.
Why would Premiere be behaving so differently? I have reset preferences, reset computer. I have not fully reinstalled premiere, but maybe I should? It's just strange that those folders were never created under my userprofile on this computer, when they exist on the other.
Thank you in advance.
I figured it out. It's Microsoft's Onedrive, saving the files surreptitiously on folders that cannot be searched.
This thread gave me the hint.
This is solved. Thanks!

Are you saying that you don't have the folder path
Users > <username> > Documents > Adobe > Premiere Pro > 25.0 > <Profile-username> > Win

I don't have the folder either because I moved Documents from the C drive to the D drive.
If you did not move the folder, re-install would be preferable.

@jamieclarke , that is correct. That folder does not appear anywhere on my computer.
@Ann Bens , I will try this later.
Thank you both for such quick responses- means a lot.

If you go back to shortcuts, is your custom saved profile there? Do any custom keystrokes work?

@Stan Jones , yes the custom keyboard saves and those keys are working.
What is interesting is that when I uninstalled Premiere, I opted for the preferences to be removed; subsequently, when I downloaded and reinstalled Premiere, my previous saved custom appeared. I cannot find this file on my computer anywhere. Could it be Premiere is saving the .kys files somewhere in the cloud and not on my local?
The goal is to be able to upload a custom .kys I have from my other working station into my premiere here, so that I am not constantly having to bring one or the other back up to speed whenever I am working (I use extensive keyboard shortcuts to edit).
Thank you all for your continued efforts here. I am surprised not to have found tickets on this issue before...
Best,
Max
