Premiere Pro 25.0 Crashing on MXF File Import

Hey everyone,

After updating Premiere Pro to version 25.0, I encountered a recurring issue: every time I import an MXF file, Premiere Pro crashes completely.

I attempted to downgrade to version 24.6, but the issue persisted. However, when I downgraded further to version 24.3, everything worked as expected.

Is there a reason I can’t use the newer versions without experiencing this crash?

System Details:

• macOS Sonoma 14.6.1
• Apple M1 Pro chip

mxf is a "wrapper", it can hold all sorts of files by different devices. We need to know precisely what created those files, and what the codec details are housed inside that mxf.
