Pause length in sequence frames

Please make the pause length in-sequence frames. I don't like having to calculate the decimal points manually. The number of frames out of one second is what percentage to get to decimal points. If the time measurements for those lengths are not in percentage, pause length per speaker. The duration is based on the timeline's setup. It does not have decimals in the timeline; it has frames.

Interesting.

 

FYI, I think you are talking about the "Minimum pause length" in the Transcript View Options dialogue. I've added a screenshot below for others who may not be tracking this. It is from Beta 24.5.0.43, but the pause option has not changed recently. It's range is from 0.1 to 2.5 seconds, and the default is .75.

 

This applies to both static transcriptions of sequences and text-based editing transcriptions of source media. So I wonder how they might try to implement this.
