Long Delay in Review of Stock Images

As the post title says I have submitted about 93 images about 29 days ago and I haven't received any feedback. Is there any way to see if there is a hold up or issue that's causing the delay?

You're not alone.  Everyone's wait queue is long. Nothing much you can do except wait and work on other projects.

Photos & Vectors are reviewed in order received, usually within 5  - 15 days.

Illustrations & Generative AI are taking 1 - 2 months due to the immense backlog of AI assets.

To help alleviate the backlog, Adobe Stock are imposing some limits on how many assets contributors can have in review at one time.  Focus more on quality vs quantity.

At that point, I'd delete them and re-submit. I uploaded four image tonight (well...last night...it's 2 AM) and they were accepted within 5 minutes of being submitted, while others I've submitted weeks ago are still awaiting review.

I haven't used any of my stock platform in a while. Few days ago I uploaded a dozen photos to a couple of them (won't mention competitor names) and they all got accepted within a day or two. However, Adobe is stating that the review process might take up to 8 weeks which is unbelievable and unacceptable.

Seems like Adobe managed to destroy a perfectly good platform in a span of just few years.

P.S. If AI content is backclogging the system then maybe... just maybe Adobe should consider separating the two so that 'normal' contrubutors uploading regular photos don't wait for millions of AI photos being generated and uploaded constantly.

Seems like there is nobofy thinking rationally over there and the result is Adobe stock becoming one of the worst platform at the moment. Quite a shame.

Review times vary by asset type, with Generative AI assets usually taking longer than other types. My photographs are usually getting reviewed within 24 hours. The "8 week" message is not specific to whatever you uploaded.

I suspect that my account is being flagged as one that might generate AI content. A while ago, I submitted a photo of my cat, but it was rejected as a NON-COMPLIANT IMAGE. I assume they thought it was AI-generated, but it wasn’t. Now, my photos have been waiting for more than 2 months for approval. Two weeks would be more reasonable. What should I do about this?

Just went through it again, and noticed that I had left a watermark. My mistake, hadn't noticed earlier!

Here is the cat photo we spoke so much about ☺️

The issue is that there's a huge backlog of Generative AI assets clogging the system, many of them from Contributors uploading hundreds or thousands at a time. Adobe has now limited the number that an individual contributor have in review. If your assets are Illustrations or Generative AI, you can expect a wait time of between 1 and 2 months. There's nothing you can do to hasten the process except be patient.

Photo, illustration or AI?
