Rejection for the protection of intellectual property

I keep encountering rejection of images for the reasons mentioned above, and in some cases I cannot understand the decision, as I believe I have removed all logos. I have attached a small selection of images and would be very grateful for any help in identifying what else I should remove so that they will be accepted by Adobe.

Thank you in advance for your help.

I edited image 56113 and blurred the faces, but unfortunately it still does not pass the review process. What can I do to get it accepted?

If it's obvious you blurred the face, that becomes a quality issue. Try removing the people altogether.

Rejection for the protection of intellectual property is a crucial step in maintaining originality and trust across all industries, including the vacation rental market. Just like creators protect their ideas, companies such as MG Vacation Rentals safeguard their brand identity and service quality. By respecting intellectual property rights, MG Vacation Rentals ensures that their listings, images, and descriptions remain authentic and exclusive. This protection helps customers trust that every experience offered is genuine, well-managed, and not copied from others — building long-term credibility and confidence in their vacation services.

This is what you're competing with in Stock:

https://stock.adobe.com/search?k="metro"

https://stock.adobe.com/search?k="public+transportation"

To get accepted, your work should be better than what Stock is selling now.

Hi Nancy.

Thanks for your reply.

However, I had no problem with the quality of the images, but rather with the fact that they were not accepted due to intellectual property protection. Since this happens to me very often with Adobe, I wanted to find out why. Perhaps you have an idea why the attached image is not accepted?

Quality. This image clearly shows signs of AI denoising or upscaling — and it’s quite noticeable, even at 100% scale. Do you seriously think that an image of this quality is suitable for stock?

Looks like you've darkened and made the sky more blue and some of that editing has been applied to the edges of the buildings.

Hi Jill.

Thank you very much for your reply. The image has now been accepted. I don't understand what exactly the problem was, because I did not changed anything

That is the spread. One moderator may have seen something, the other may not have seen that. It may happen also the other way around, when you resubmit a previously accepted asset, that you deleted from the database.

In general, you need a property release if you want to submit real-life architectural objects like these or you need to prove documentally that they are clearly in public domain. When in doubt, moderators will mostly likely reject transportation and buildings. Given the questionable and limited commerical value of these images, it is more reasonable to put efforts into "easier" subjects for stock submission which are free of these obligations, I think.

"Public transit and unique places

You need permission from public transit systems to photograph or film on location. Also, like other products and services, most metro lines have trademarks and copyright protections on signage, maps, logos, route indicators, buildings, and more.

Whether your images and videos include public transit systems or other unique places, you must remove all trademarks and copyright-protected content before you submit them to Adobe Stock. Here’s a scrubbed photo that would not need a property release:"
Here: https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/property-release.html

However, on Adobe Stock, you can find 803 photos for the query "Schwebebahn Wuppertal", most of them under the standard license, some under editorial — and the difference between them is not always obvious.

By the way, here's a photo under the standard license with a clearly visible MediaMarkt logo: https://stock.adobe.com/images/bahnhof-schwebebahn-wuppertal/537300825?prev_url=detail

I guess, as of now, the smartest approach would be either to remove all Schwebebahn logos or upload those photos as editorial.

And the photo with the Baumsche Fabrik will probably only be accepted as editorial anyway.

I allready tried to load them for editorial use, but it does not work at all. I retoushed the piktogram of the Schwebebahn now and hope it will work.

53927 the tram is identifiable and the passengers in the front are identifiable.

56113 the persons are identifiable.

5013512 the tram is identifiable and the name on the building.

22848 the people are identifiable.

The tram cannot be the main subject of your photos.

Thank you for your answers, that helps me a lot.

What I don't understand is the problem with the suspension railway being recognisable. The railway is unique worldwide and has been a means of public transport and a landmark of the city for 124 years now. I therefore cannot understand why it should not be photographed. As far as I know, there is no ban in Germany on photographing public transport.
