@Ilse Minnebach - Belgium    Does it work when you launch Acrobat first, then choose File > Open?   If you are double-clicking in Finder/File Explorer, then you need to change the file association so that the PDF extension opens Acrobat, not the Reader. I have an image that ... is 5100 x 3300 px. I need to resize it to be 1920 x 1080 px.  it autochanges the dimensions to 1920 x 1242 px. By @TianDing    You can't resize the image from 5100 x 3100 px to 1920 x 1080 px without distorting it. It's simple math — you are not keeping the same aspect ratio. @sandram94104722    For the hyphenation, set the options for the minimum number of characters in the word (i.e., 6) and for the minimum number of characters before and after the hyphen (i.e., 3). I need to use the desktop Acrobat Reader app to fill out a form, and I just got a free trial so I can use it, which I will have to remember to cancel in a few days. By @melodic_star9931 Acrobat Reader is free and you can use it to fill out forms. You absolutely do not need a subscription to the free Reader to fill out a form. The free Acrobat Reader for desktop is what you want and need.   There is a paid version of "Acrobat Reader for Mobile" with premium features, including Edit PDF, Export PDF, Combine Files, and Organize Pages. It does not work on Reader for desktop, and this is not what you need or are looking for. https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/mobile-app-faq.html#   Acrobat Standard, Pro, and Studio are by subscription and have free trials. I see that Photoshop and other tools are increasingly demanding. By @Alex32252670s8p0 I've had to replace computers more than a few times when they could no longer run the updates to my software. Even so, I can't imagine Adobe and other companies trying to be compatible with my first two computers from 1989 — or even any of the subsequent ones!
