Hi doobieduck, Whenever you download Adobe software on Windows machines there are 2 files which gets downloaded "7z "and "exe". 7z is the compressed content which consist of the actual setup and payloads however "exe" is a light-weight de-compressor provided from Adobe to extract the content from the 7z file. Hi bmcadams223, There is no seperate installer for upgrade version and full version. The setup to install the software,in your case Photoshop CS6, is same for upgrade and full version. Serial number is what makes the difference, when you install the software and put your serial number then a check happens to know is it a full version or an upgraded version, if it is a upgraded version of the software then it ask for previous version serial number to authenticate your purchase. @ Peter Didn't know that you monitor Creative Cloud forums as well The solution you gave is good for CS6 as untill CS6 the DVD/ Download links were provided to customer from where they can extract the payload file and replace it with the actual file on the computer however from CC onwards the download and install is all through the CC desktop hence no payloads to work with as download/Extraction/Install happens and then gets deleted automatically, unless you have the direct download of the Adobe softwares (like from predesigntools) @Stagg3r After checking your log file in Post# 1, here is the reason for failure ERROR: DF022: File corruption detected. Re-install the product & then apply the patch again.
