Hi David.  I'm not seeing the cursor update during painting either in earlier versions 19.x and 20.x.  I'm not sure live cursor update while painting has ever worked.  Is there a previous version where this worked for you?  There was a bug in 21.1.1 where the cursor and tilt for DTip brushes broke - that is what we fixed.   ... Sorry this is so frustrating and fixes taking a while.  Make sure you're on the latest release (20.0.4).  We have several bugs we are working on; zoom levels affecting painting performance and Rulers being on affecting painting performance. Turning Rulers off, if they are on, will help.
