We read it the first time and every response has given the correct instructions for extracting the separate images - not extracting pages as images. We do understand the difference. If you attempt a mass distribution you may have many other issues. Can you FORCE people to use suitable software - that is, Acrobat Reader on Mac or Windows? When they already have an app that can read PDF? And will you tell people on iOS and Android that they are out of luck? I think you're reaching beyond what is feasible. But you can't justify text in a fillable PDF field, not by any trick; whether you made it in InDesign doesn't give more power to the PDF fields. It is not either/or. Personally I would use both, or use Photoshop and Illustrator so you need to know how to work in these three effectively. These three apps are the normal everyday tools of the graphic designer. Ok, you write   But PS thinks my drive/s are full after I've been at it for a while.  so I assume you disagree. I've seen many people who disagreed, but usually Photoshop is right. There's a simple test you need to do, because it changes completely the direction to go. When you get the message saying scratch disks are full, LEAVE THE MESSAGE ON SCREEN. While the message is on screen, leave Photoshop frozen and go back to Windows and check the free space on your five scratch disks. Maybe a screen shot from File Explorer would be interesting. (Clearly if you reply to the message Photoshop may release some space, that's why the message needs to still be on screen). ... View more

Yes. It is well known that Preview will damage or destroy forms. Apple have had over 10 years to fix it, and show no signs that they ever will. Other PDF viewers may have different bugs. Since there is no collection of information on this, nobody can plan effectively. This is a severe difficulty with PDF forms. You need to give clear instructions to your end users to get and to use Acrobat Reader - which may be challenging because they will simply ignore them and use Preview because they know it opens PDFs. Or Windows users will continue to use Edge (without even knowing that they are) because it comes with Windows.  You also need to consider the people on phones and tablets - Adobe have apps for these device, but Adobe themselves haven't troubled to make them full-featured. ...
