Acrobat DC supports Arabic within many feature but not all. What you requested ie. copy Arabic text from a PDF on to MS. Word or any other application will not work in Acrobat DC, it used to work in Acrobat X and prior such as 9, 8. Similarly, exporting the content of your Arabic PDF to RTF or Word, will not be so successful either, however you may try it, the result will be between 0 – 10% success rate depending on how the PDF was created and which application generated it. I don't have a solution, but apparently Adobe are using "Adobe Air" in ADE which doesn't support Arabic just like few other Adobe mobile applications, so unless Adobe switch to HTML 5 your readers will not be able read Arabic just like you experienced. ... View more

I'm experimenting on a technique I read in InDesign magazine by Stefano Bernardi which may work. It is as follows… 1. Create a text frame on the Master page, while dragging, split the frame horizontally and vertically using arrows on the keyboard (Gridify your frame), this way all frames are threaded, you may do the same on both pages of the Masters (Spread) but make sure you link last frame of left Master page and first text frame of right Master page. 2. Create a Paragraph Style for the sequential numbers, in the left pane, click on Bullets and Numbering to access its options and change it as per below screenshot. 3. In left pane, click on Keep options, and change Start Paragraph option as below, and hit OK. 4.  Type tool, place insertion cursor in the first text frame on page 1, (remember this frame is on the Master), apply your paragraph style you've just created, press and hold Return button as this will apply Paragraph Style and the cursor will jump to next frame. 5. What I did more, I changed InDesign's Type preferences for Text reflow so InDesign would add and delete pages as needed automatically. ... View more

I have the feeling that your Illustrator is not the Middle Eastern version, you may test this by looking at the the Type Tool, do you see the "Right-To-Left Type tool? if not, then your Illustrator is certainly not an ME and all you have to do is uninstall it and make sure to change the language in Adobe CC desktop menu Preferences then download Illustrator ME. ... Here is a quick try Make sure you have white background layer, then duplicate your map layer. Target original map layer and go to Photoshop menu Layer > Layer Style > Blending Options. At the bottom of the open dialogue window target the white triangle for "This Layer", hold alt key and drag white triangle all the way to the left to split the triangle into two. Click Ok.
