Hi Dan   Startup crashes in Premiere are not only because of corrupt or incompatible plugins but also due to VST's that may cause issues.   The best solution is to watch the splash screen carefully and take a screenshot of the moment it crashes. This is usually at the point where the corruption is occurring. May take you a few attempts but I have tried this a few times and it works perfectly. When I stated meatdata corruption here is one possible scenario"   Sometimes the permissions on the save file can be corrupted. As a result you will not be able to save to that file any longer. This is common on almost all software not just Adobe products. It happens from time to time and can be caused due to a number of facttors.   I would like to see what happens when the OP tries to save as a new file.   Performance bug issues are being addressed and will be patched in the near future. I am sorry to see how frustrated this has become for you If you do a Save as with a new file name, do you get the same error? Sometimes the metadata stored with the original save file can be corrupted. Hi    If the playback is in full HD with no issues on your local nachine using VLC etc, the output seems to be correct. As Mylenium pointed out, YT *playback quality depends on a number of factors e.g your bandwidth speed, if the vid has been cached on the YT servers etc.  Can you share a Speetest result with us. Hi   If you see video in the program monitor there has to be a sequence that was created.  Amd when a sequemce is created so is a timeline. The prohram monitor "morrors" whats n the timeline so I cannot understand why you cant see a timeline. Hi   It seems your GPU might be the issue. I would defintely look at a newer model that supports METAL The 6800 was launched in 2010 so is pretty old in terms of tech.
