Hi   This seems to be an issue with a few hidden file preferences that may have been corrupted somewhere along the line. What these are would be impossibbe to say.   Could you do a partition or install PP on another drive on the same mcahine and see what happens This is a case of slowly eliminating one area at at time and exploring all possibilities which may take a long time and cause you even more frustration.   I would try that install on the same machine but on another drive.   Mo ... Hi    You could create a loopable effect using a particle system in AE and then use it in the app   Ensure that the composition size matches the app dimensions or you will get ridiculoulsy large files sizes depemdenat on the duration. If you are on AE Beat switch off multi core rendering as the older versions of Particular dont use this. The newer versions do. So as a fist step install the latest version of Particular.   If this fails you can try this: Uninstall Particular with Maxon's Uninstaller  Restart AE and start a new comp with a few basic keyframes Switch back to GPU rendering   Reinstall the latest version of Particular   I have seen this before where the Particular "flag" default was reading incorreclty    This fixed it on a Mac (should work on a PC)   Mo ... Hi Dan   Flickerfree is a plugin made by Digital Anarchy   Have a look at other Mediacore folders or do you just have 7.0. It should be in the medicoare 7.0 folder in a folder called Digital Anarchy. If you find it there siumply delete that plugin and relaunch PP. You can also browse Applications ->Digital Anarchy and look for an uninstaller or Library->Application Support->Digital Anarchy and see what comes up and manually remove with its uninstaller if its has one Have a look at this:   So I recommend using the uninstaller   Keep us updated    Mo   ... Hi Dan   Startup crashes in Premiere are not only because of corrupt or incompatible plugins but also due to VST's that may cause issues.   The best solution is to watch the splash screen carefully and take a screenshot of the moment it crashes. This is usually at the point where the corruption is occurring. May take you a few attempts but I have tried this a few times and it works perfectly.
