Hello, Can you share details about the project and media? Are you working in 4k? Long GOP source media? 10bit? Any 3rd party effects or filters? I would imagine that some formats play back fine? In this case, the Quadro driver could also be a factor. There has been a lot of activity and newer driver releases. It would be interesting to compare GPU acceleration to software only (project settings). If software has better playback performance, I would suspect the Quadro driver to be a factor.  If this ends up being the case, there are two new drivers available from Nvidia. There is a standard driver and also a DCH / QNF driver available that has resolved issues for some users.  A full removal of existing drivers is often needed when updating to new drivers. ... As often happens, this thread has managed to snag a few different issues. Some have been related to a plugin, others are related to media or have multiple factors. The good news is that we have been able to reproduce issues and we are in the process of addressing them internally. The Transcriptive plug-in issue is being addressed with a recommended workaround in place.  The PIXl 2 portrait mode jpeg issue is also being addressed as well as one or two other less common issues. Progress is being made. I'll update the thread as more info becomes available. Re: Font Sync issues. I still have some open questions around font syncing. infinityphotorob​ - How many fonts were unsynced in your case? Was the problem that some were external fonts that could not be synced? Hi A Noori, Thanks for the post. We listen and value the feedback. There has been a lot of movement around GPU drivers. Unfortunately, there have been many changes on the OS, hardware and software level and this has resulted in some unfortunate issues. We are definitely actively working on these issues. In many of these cases, multiple GPUs and drivers are involved. There are many variables including OS, graphics card, OpenCL, Metal, CUDA, etc. For dual GPU laptops, Intel GPUs are an important factor and required driver updates have been delayed and not accessible enough for users. We have been working internally and with partners to address these issues and we are making progress. Hi Barrett, This is not a common report and may be specific to the Quadro drivers.  I need to gather more info on this. CUDA 10 is supported. (9.2 or newer) Some users have reported that setting the Power Management Mode to Maximum Performance and changing the NVIDIA global 3D settings profile to the "3D App - Visual Simulation" seems to have helped. That would be easy to try. Also - Have you done a full clean uninstall of older drivers? I would recommend this as this has resolved the issue for many. I'd do a clean uninstall and would try a couple recent versions of the Quadro driver. I would expect this to work. Many are using Quadro drivers successfully. If that doesn't solve the issue, one more thing that I may try is disabling hardware decoding in Media>Prefs. It would be good just to rule that out as a contributing factor. Wes ... View more

What happens if your render your sequence fully (Green bar visible) Do you see the same issues?Any obvious details that differentiate the problematic sections from other sections that are working as expected?
