whoa,
that is a problem, and probably is THE problem.
first, to edit the hosts file you need to run a plain text editor as an admin. here are details:
https://windows-11.en.softonic.com/articles/how-to-edit-hosts-file-iwindows-10-11?utm_source=SEM&utm_medium=paid&utm_campaign=EN_desktop_RegionA_conversions_DSA_US&gclid=Cj0KCQiAkMGcBhCSARIsAIW6d0BiIVYB3RaajjL4JGkVZ7DjYKOyQbHKHMirAzoyi11SDiExVL77LUEaAo0hEALw_wcB
you should delete everything including that line about adobe and all the 127.0.0.1 localhost entries including the one above that line about blocking adobe.
you should also use a # before every other line in that file that does not already have # preceeding it. save.
then retry opening your cc desktop app. if that fails, you may need to reset it:
make sure it's in the foreground, then press: Win: Ctrl + Alt + R Mac: Cmd + Opt + R
if that fails, restart your computer > open the cc desktop app > if not fixed, sign out and then back in to your cc desktop app.
