you might have to use the CC Cleaner App to remove all Adobe software and then reinstall the CC Desktop app first and then the software you have a valid subscription for.

You are Out Of Luck unless you have a Saved Copy of the origiina Lr 3.6 install file.
Back then, some 9-10 years ago, all updates for Lr were the complete install files for the complete program. Not just a bunch of file that replaced the previous point release of whatever major Lr version.
So if you have your old computer look on the drive for a Lr 3.6 install file.

This happens often as the Big Box at the bottom of the Post to Community text entry window Draws New users to it and they Attach image files instead of inserting them inline with the text.
Not your fault.

I think this is a Printer problem and or Driver and OS problem. You're using a Mac, correct?
Is it running the newest MacOS Big Sur (BS for short)? Have you tried updating (Upgrading) the printer drivers?

In the future, So people don't have to download the image you have attached, please use the Insert Photos icon found in the Tool Bar of the Post and Reply text entry dialog window as pictured below. Since you Can't Edit your original post to remove the Attached screen shot Please include the screen shot you attached to a new reply to this conversation by clicking the Blue Reply button under your original post and use the Insert Photos icon in the tool bar. The Insert Photos icon is this one in the Tool Bar.

That is a completely Erroneous statement. Flash Player has Nothing to do with Windows File Explorer and is not needed by File Explorer for that program to function.

I completely agree with @Todd Shaner .
Not sure what Given Task you are talking about but I don't find using Windows File Explorer (or Finder on a Mac) any more Convenient for working with my images files.
As to the XMP files even if you turn that optioon off LrC still saves all your edits to the Catalog File.
The only problem with that is you then get an Icon with downword facing arrow in the image thumbnail that the Metadata needs to be updated. Doing that will create a XMP sidecar file for Proprietary RAW file.
To get around all of this convert all your RAW filers to DNG files. Then with the XMP sidecar option checked instead of creating the XMP file the edits are written Inside the DNG file. So no other Add On file is needed.

That is Not how you Import images from folders on any drive. That is to ADD a folder to the Library module Folder List. thaqt will not Import the images that you have placed In those folders.
You need to review some of the tutorials on how LrC works and how to properly work with LrC.

Are you using the Import button in the Library module and then selecting Add at the top of the import window and then Selecting the new folders in the Source section folder list on the left hand side of the import dialog?
