whenever you use ( object -> path - > offset path ) the original objects will still there as Jacob Mentioned, to see the duplicated objects view -> outline ( ctrl + Y ) to apply offset path as a Live Effect : Effects -> path -> offset path and to edit , delete the offset path window -> appearance

you may turn "shy" icon on for the Finished layer, you can see them in the Comp window but they are invisible in the Timeline,

Where is the icon for the quick-selection tool now located, in PS v. 2017? with which I can create a selection within an image, which I can then copy and paste into another image. Hope this is clear (?). once you did your selection , Go to select -> save selection to get it back ... select -> load selection

I got a weird bounding box behavior many times on each version of illustrator specifically when i was working on a complex project, the bounding box starts to show up and select random objects .. the only way that worked for me is to restart my Laptop and relaunch illustrator back again.

you need to animate the Rotate Property first click on the stop watch then move the CTI ( the Play head ) then change the value to 90 i hope that what you are asking for.

I would suggest Trying to sign out from Creative Cloud then sign back in, then reset illustrator Preferences : Press ctrl + alt + shift while running illustrator if that did not work, Re-installing illustrator should help.

Does that happen to All files ? it could be the file is open by another application , Here is a quick workaround : image -> Duplicate then apply the Blur gallery if that did not help, Reset Photoshop Preferences Edit -> preferences -> General : Reset preferences on Quit

Sign out from creative cloud, restart your laptop sign-in back again Reset photoshop preferences: Double click on photoshop icon then press ctrl + alt + shift while photoshop is running If nothing works, try to reinstall a fresh copy from creative cloud.

that happesn when we use the Pencil Tool accidentally where the hardness will stay Hard on 0 - 100. make sure that you are using the Brush Tool NOT the Pencil Tool

this can be done faster in the new Photoshop CC where you can add up to 10 shadows on each Layer very easily. your screenshot shows you are in the CS6 Version, here is a workaround, Add shadow to One layer, convert it to smart object then add another shadow to the smart object layer

The silly workaround that I have found is dragging/pasting into Powerpoint first and then cutting and pasting into Illustrator Does that Really really work ! it does not make any sense to me . Illustrator is a " vector" based application and Png is a Pixel file format, To Maintain Transparency you can either: open or place the png file.

You need to know more about bit depth, Color space and Color management your psd is 16-bit .. so when exporting to jpg , the image previewer could not preview the 16-bit correctly Switch to 8-bit and make sure your color space is the same as the image -> mode -> 8 bit more about color management: Set up color management

this is called anti-aliasing that photoshop does to elemenate jagged edges, if you want to select or create a new selection without anti-aliasing uncheck "anti-alias" in the selection Tool option bar when it comes to rotate an exisiting layer when you transform ( ctrl + T ) check the option bar .. there is inteplation options check them . one more workarround is to use a pixelated filter filter -> pixelate -> mosaic add some contrast with levels command ( ctrl + L ) hope some will help .
