When you tried Ctrl+Shift+Y (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+Y (Mac) did you have the text highlighted? text highlighted after pressing Ctrl+Shift+Y (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+Y (Mac) What Ctrl+Shift+Y (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+Y (Mac) does is return the type to the default font style. It's not the shortcut to toggle All Caps on/off.

Looks like Apple supports the uncompressed FUJIFILM X-E5 raf files, but not the compressed versions. You can go to Apple>About This Mac>More Info>System Report>Software>Raw Support and see that the FUJIFILM X-E5 is listed, however, only the uncompressed files from that camera that i tested were able to display the thumbnails in Finder on macOS Tahoe 26.0.1 You should be able to see thumbnails of the files in Adobe Bridge. files for testing were from here: https://raw.pixls.us/

Go to Photoshop 2025>Settings>Tools and uncheck Overscroll If that doesn't solve the issue, post a screenshot of what your seeing.

You could also use the Export panel in Bridge to convert the DNG files to Tiff files, which should then open in Photoshop Elements via File>Open in Camera Raw.

Ideally for convenience, many find it easier to be able to open the camera raw files (nefs) directly into Photoshop Elements without the added step of converting to DNG files, however, converting to DNG files is a step that many professionals do, so i don't think your losing any quality and if you save the original nefs you can always go back to them, if and when you upgrade to a version of Photoshop Elements that will open them directly. I wouldn't let having to convert to DNG files stop you from getting a new camera, that undoubtedly will have better image quality than older models.

There shouldn't be any reduction in quality by using the Adobe DNG Converter. Just save the original nef files.

It would be worth installing the Camera Raw plugin again by going to Help>Install Camera Raw. Maybe something went wrong during the previous install. Then after the install restart your computer.

According to Adobe the Canon EOS R6 requires Camera Raw 12.4 or newer and by installing Camera Raw you should have Camera Raw 17.3.1 https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html If in Photoshop Elements you go to Help>About Plug-Ins and click on Camera Raw, what Version does it say? Should be 17.3.1

Yes you can use the Adobe DNG Converter to convert the Nikon 750 nefs to DNGs that will then open in PSE14. Many times when opening a Camera Raw file into the Photoshop Elements 2026 Editor on Mac Intel laptops with installed Camera Raw 17.3.1, the Menu Bar (top of the screen with File, Edit,Image, etc) freezes meaning it doesn't respond to clicks to reveal the menu items. Seems to be the same bug that has been reported in the Photoshop forum: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-bugs/p-ps-25-12-on-macos-15-menu-buttons-freeze-after-using-camera-raw-liquify-intel-macs/idi-p/14870909#comments When the Menu Bar is frozen it turns into bold text like in the screenshots below: Usually one can unfreeze the Menu Bar by using a keyboard shortcut for File>Save for Web or File>Contact Sheet II or Filter>Correct Camera Distortion. Then the Menu Bar text turns to the normal regular text and unfreezes as in the screenshot below: This is on a 2015 MacBook Pro running macOS Sonoma 14.8.1

If you go to Edit>Preferences>Display & Cursors is the UI Scale Factor set to Automatic? You can try setting it to 200% and restart Photoshop Elements.

See if going to Edit>Preferences>Technology Previews, unchecking Enable Modern User Interface, then restarting Photoshop makes any difference.

As far as i can tell this issue is only on the Windows side with PSE 26. Tested several Mac installs of PSE 26 and no such error occurs.
