Sometimes when I select something this useful group appears in my menu bar: I prefer it to the Transform Panel, because of the up/down arrows. But it isn't always there, ad it doesn't always appear with every selection. What is it called, and can I make it ever-present?

CC on a Mac, OS 10.14. How many different places might be used to store ICC Profiles? When I look at the color settings options, or go to select a printer profile in Photoshop, I see many, many items that are not in my Library/ColorSync/Profiiles or username/Library/ColorSync folders. I'd like to get rid of the useless ones.

I have a multi-artboard project that contains a complicated image in multiple places. The image is actually on the artboards, it isn't linked. It has cause the file size to balloon up to 250MB and now handling it is difficult. Requests to do things like move an artboard cause the system to hang and hiding/unhiding and saving all take a very long time. I did try trashing my preferences but that did nothing. I'm happy with the current status of the project. Is there some way I can simplify things to reduce the size of the file & make it easier to work?

I'm having a weird problem. I'm trying to print a PDF from Acrobat. Here is a photo of the preview that appears in the lower right corner of the print dialog box. All seems normal. But when I print, only the bottom half of the image appears. Here's a photo of the actual print out: This happened twice, so I rebooted - and it happened a 3rd time.

CC on a Mac. I'm trying to straighten some images using the straighten tool inside the crop tool. I've done this hundreds of times before. However, today, suddenly, it isn't working, because I can't see the line I'm dragging. I get the cross-hairs cursor and the little level icon, and the readout of the angle. But I cannot see the line I've made at all - it is completely invisible. I've restarted PS but that made no change.

I have a photograph of a painting. Here is a small screenshot. On the left you can see some horrendous noise. This is a 100% screenshot. How can I clean this up? There isn't enough good material to work with to allow me to use either the spot healing brush or the patch tool. CC on a Mac. I'm working with a bunch of stock vectors. A lot of them have fussy details that I'd like to remove. For example, see below. I'd like to remove the black lines that appear in the interior of the flower shape. But they aren't editable as-is: they are actually the black background. I made the image on the right by "tracing", but I'm wondering if there is a Pathfinder tool that would give me what I want more quickly.
