Thanks for the swift response. 🙂 With me would be a little bit difficult. I am NVIDIA 😉 However I use both the RTX 4090 & and the 14900k GPUs... will start by disabling the CPUs GPU. And see from there where we are going.

Probably more components and functions need to be updated which makes the implementation far more complicated. After all PS Elements is a simpler version of PS. 😉

In my case the data drive was with changed drive letter ergo my absolute paths were different. Thanks to the registry tip I saw what was the problem. Just reassigned the correct letter to the correct driver instead of editing the registry. Thanks!

Another 7 or more years old that Adobe don't care about a feature named bug. Come on guys. It shouldn't be so difficult to make a tick for auto and no-auto preview so one could easily downsize previews on the fly. I have 5 different options for a project that I have to communicate with the client. One and the same file. Just different backgrounds from layers. The final and the working image file is 45 MPs I need 2048 version. I don't need automatic anything. Just a damned tick. So next time when I save for web NOT to wait for the bloody 45 MP version to "optimize a preview". And if I want to be able after I downsize to view the small preview. @Jeffrey, do you believe it to be that hard? I mean the coding part of "yes", or "no"? 😉 Just an hour or so of a single developer to implement it. Upon a creation of the "Safe for web" window to check if should start the "optimize preview function..." Back in the days (how long was it? 10 years?) with the first implementation of ""Safe for web" wasn't there that checkbox?

Actually clips were linked 3x cams synced. However my current suspicions lean towards some idiotic self modification of the video cache of the project which for reason beyond me got moved from whatever I have set to Lightroom's video cache. And since afterwards I have used LR, I guess that is the culprit. Afterwards all my saved steps of the project were ruined like that. Since then have used LR a few times and no issues. Logically I believe it to be the video cache folder setting. The question is why did it changed 😞

No. I don't. Here is how the project looks like. It is not linked or grouped with any other.

Nobody seems to care or know. That is a big issue for me too. In addition that my whole beginning of the project is messed up. Could be due to problem with "Match Frame" or something similar.

The direct answer is quite better, actually. 🙂 Maybe because the google search is better navigator than any help logic 😞 Please people we are not in the 90s anymore. Everything is on the internet these days. As long as the application is not a simple one (let's say with four buttons/functions and one page help) this is the better way to find answers. Ergo I find your answer rude mr. @Todd_Kopriva. Especially having in mind you are representing Adobe.

Nope, John. I am afraid unfortunately it is NOT working using the GUI only. And opening ACR for this single purpose is ludacris. 😞

Nope. In the C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\Settings are ONLY the added additional templates as XMP files. The default 14 in question don't seem to be there. 😉

After all this time finally I came to use gaming devices. Still have the WACOM, but don't use it in LR. ]Both keyboard and mouse in order to NOT lift my hands off. And for me that is the fastest way... Shortcut key manager: I don't feel being developed anytime soon, but at least more functions gotten out to keyboards could be a little compensation as well. :-(((

True indeed. Amd this absolute path to a specific browser is also not to my taste. Thank you for mentioning it though. Indeed. JavaScript might be not the best option for Adobe Photoshop. 😞

Think this would be a good idea. One could add the LR catalog folders as well. However in the LR 7 series - things have improved hugely - so not that much of an issue anymore.

This is very ugly solution to my taste, but indeed it remains as the only one familiar to me to use in my script for Adobe Photoshop CC 2018. If anyone has better API call not involving the creation of local temp file, but opening system's default browser instead would be most welcome! Anyways... Thanks JJMack for sharing!

Thanks, Bill! That DID worked and it didn't deleted my settings (I guess)... However really make regular backup updates to your settings just in cases and do NOT rely on good luck!

You have something installed that is causing this. Either a legitimate tool, add-on, etc or it is a malware. I don't think of your scenario as a regular one.

Why do you ask so many questions? :-))) 1/ Because... there is 🙂 2/ Because I am. I've been in the IT field for many years, including in beta testing programs before. Have reported many bugs. Have provided dumps, gathered info from versatile systems. Have been dealing with DBs. And have been also tech support. Have written some code (a little) myself. 3/ To contribute to the development and troubleshooting. Anyone can criticize. But it's another thing if you can give a hand in the process of building something. My background and experience can be of good help. I've had criticized enough. But have also provided info on memory leaks previously. Now it is time to assist in avoiding such pitfalls in advance, whenever I can. 4/ Beta testing would let me know from early stage what to expect. Can even happen that a feature based on an idea of mine may appear in next major release (for LR 7, guess it's too late already). * Can be useful to some extend to midi2lr dev if I find something related to his project. * Can acquaint myself and later on others on new features to come... * And let's not forget that I am pretty advanced LR power user (develop module). * Have tested and tried many things so far. As well as a few alternatives to LR programs. So kind of know me around. * I am nerd. It means - programs are fun for me. Photographer by day. Nerd by night. Most importantly tryin' to help! How about you? How many white papers have you read? How familiar are you with the ins and outs of CMOS sensors and ADCs? Do you comprehend the significance of the logic where are the amplifiers located within DSLRs circuit board? The differences between RAWs, and DNGs? How many third party firmwares on DSLRs have you installed? How many years have you spent on photoshop? Probably less than me since I am on board since version 3 (that is without the CS). DO you even know the color space of LR at least? Does any one of us really need to know the other one's answers? For me to be beta tester and for you to be ACP. I think NOT. 😉 And again why do you ask so many questions? :-)))) I thought ACPs give answers 😉
