I'd like to know whichi program best suited for interactive PDF forms which can get its information from a SQL database. For example on the form the line that state "Customer's Name" is written and that customer name can be drawn from a database whichi i'd link for the user to choose from.If you do know whichi program best suited for what i need please state it and if possible state the guide that will help me link the interactive form to an existing database, preferably SQL.
It adds lines that can't be removed and some things are lighter grey in word whereas they were black in the PDF file. How do I fix these issues.
This seems crazy economics from Adobe. Because I am an educator you offered me and I accepted a reduced price on Photoshop. This wasn't because you value my work with young people it was because I might open their eyes to Adobe products. Now because of this you won't let me buy the CC Photography Programme subscription. I and many other would have bought the original subscription offer if we could afford it. Clearly only about 700K users could do so until recently. Now you offer the CC PP as a 'reward' to existing customers. You don't have to go to Harvard BS to know that in retail there are no rewards, only incentives disguised as rewards. You want as many people as possible to sign up. It matters not one bit what anyone did, had or bought before. All that matters is what they WILL spend and for how long. I want to subscribe, I want to give you $9..99 a month, every month until I die or go blind. You won't let me do that and my only other alternative is to walk away. Adobe is turning
I found a discussion that answers a question I had (how to save in PremierPro CS 6 for CS 5.5). I would like to bookmark it within my Adobe account for future reference. I went to the help lnk at bottom of every page on these forum and I'm informed Adobe doesn't do help it does discussions. Please discuss.
Everyone should not take themselves so seriously.I'm just sayin'...
OK, this may have already been discussed, but I swear I looked. I searched "spell check" and didn't find it. If I missed it, please just point me in that direction and lock this thread.Thanks.<rant>These are the Adobe forums. Why does the spell checker flag the names of Adobe products like "Lightroom"? Why are names of codecs or formats like tif flagged. Heck, why is "codec" flagged? Why is Photoshop flagged if I type it photoshop? You know it is now a verb as well as a noun.It just seems wrong to me that I have to look through a long post to find the errors only to find out that the only errors are names of Adobe products or commonly used words in a video or photo editing world.Doesn't Adobe have any pull with the Jive folks at all?</rant>
Does anyone know what the complexities are with the Creative Cloud Licensing and how it affects Software Asset Management?
Hi, Could you please delete the message called "Why Flash CS6 randomly cuts off audio clips at the beginning?I posted it on the AS 1&2 forum by mistake. Thanks,Juanma
On my forum profile there is a mention about the Jive SBS app. Apparently I should be able to use it on my iPhone to access the Adobe forums. I downloaded it but it doesn't seem to work, it gives me an error when I try to log in with my email or the screen name. Am I doing something wrong, or the mobile acces is disabled?
InDesign forum page under resources.InDesign Cookbook is pointing to the wrong url.http://forums.adobe.com/community/indesign
In the Resources section the "InDesign Cookbook" links back to the forum pages.I think it should link herehttp://shop.oreilly.com/product/9780596100483.doI don't know if there's a way of creating a group of books through one link that are beneficial to people? Maybe like a library listing BeginnersIntermediateAdvancedSpecific Topics like StylesTablesIf anyone has any suggestions linking to various books and topics - knows any books or where the topics are very good on specific areas or anything like that.Or maybe just fix the link? Whatever works - if there's anything I can do let me know.
I am trying to get an idea of how many regular forum users still have a very old Adobe ID that is a nickname instead of an email address. can you post a note here if you DO have a non-email address ID?Thanks!
What can I think of this (scan) format - how secure/ standard is it. Will it still be readable in 10 yeard time? Can anybody help me with product specifications?
I have been using my middle initial in my screen name for quite some time. I remember when I first signed up in 2002 and wanted to keep it anonymous but since it would not take SLG (my initals) I added an exclamation mark. I went with SLG! for a long time. Then I started a web site using my own name so I switched to Steven L. GotzAll of a sudden, my middle initial has disappeared from my screen name.Anyone know why?
Below is a recent conversation transcript. I was trying to get a CLEAR answer as to what would happen after my 1 year "promo" subscription ran out - or if there was an avenue to simply just use the versions I downloaded. What I received was scripted sales "negotialtion" LOOK. We write code. We're detailed. We're somewhat smart. This "bargaining" was an insult. Plus I was given wrong information. Was told I could still use the Apps downloaded. NOT TRUE. I cannot use any of them - unless I continue to pay their monthly fee. Blatant false advertising. Its down right wrong. Has anyone else expereinced this? Rashmitha: Hello! Welcome to Adobe Customer Service.Rashmitha: Hi Lee,Lee Gallison: HI! did you just receive my info and question?Rashmitha: Please allow me a minute while I review your query.Lee Gallison: sure!Rashmitha: Thank you for staying online.Rashmitha: I understand you would like to continue your subscription, am I correct?Lee Gallison: Ideally yes, but I cannot offord the 50 p

I see in Captivate 6, you had to use a widget from the CPGuru. Is that still the case or has Adobe addressed this issue in CP7? Also has the issue with the Youtube playing through the widget in HTML5 been corrected?Thank you!Holly
Hi there,I purchased ITC Avant Guarde STD - DEMI typeface. Adobe has the wrong typeface linked to the file you purchase from them. As you can see from the screenshot, the file is titled "...DEMI, but you recieve the wrong file "...BK" or Book. Ughhhh! So I explained to Adobe that I really need the font to finish a project, and they said someone would get back to me within 3 days.... Ugghhhh! The also said I should try to repurchase the font to see if that fixed it...NO it didn't ughhhh! Now my issue still hasn't been resolved and I have to wait 5-7 business days to get a refund for the second purchase...Ughhhh! So I was on the phone with reps for three hours and escalted it all the way to whever their top is and they said they have no contact with the "FONT" team. All they could do was send them an email. So essentially Adobe is selling the wrong product and I've missed deadlines because I am only allowed a small budget for fonts and can't increase it. There are so many font com
Does anyone have a work-around or local phone number for getting intelligent support in New Zealand? I can't aford to waste more time having to speak to someone in India, who thinks they know how to speak English? Dealing with Adobe is pretty much impossible. Adobe seem happy to leave the whole nation of New Zealand stranded.
Currently I started working on CQ5, and was able to integrate this with mysql and oracle. Now looking forward to integrate CQ5 with mongodb.Has anybody have any idea on this ??Thanks in Advance !!!!!!!!!!1

Hi,every bodyI'm trying to draw some circles in a bitmapdata with the BitmapData.draw() method.when use the BlendMode.NORMAL everything is OK but when I try with the BlendMode.ADD some borderlines appear.the main code in following lines: function drawOneCircle():void{ _matrix.identity(); _matrix.rotate( circle.rotation ); _matrix.scale( circle.scale, circle.scale ); _matrix.translate( circle.x, circle.y ); _colorTransform.color = circle.color; _colorTransform.alphaMultiplier = circle.alpha; _bitmapData.draw( bdParticle, _matrix, _colorTransform, BlendMode.ADD, null, true );}can anyone help?
It happens to me a lot, when I'm editing a longer post: I hit Command-S to "save" the text. In any application this is a safe habit to prevent any loss of effort. And in webpages I even got used to hitting Command-dot subsequently to dismiss the upcoming but useless Save dialogue from the browser. But in the Adobe Forums, this minor mistake triggers a very dangerous and unwanted action: the message gets posted ! Of course, I can edit or even delete the half-baked post immediately afterwards, but it's a very intrusive result. Can this short-cut be altered or at least switched off ?So now I intentionally hit the Command-S...
How to find EchoSign technical discussion?
Why is it that when I go to any product's forum landing page e.g. http://forums.adobe.com/community/indesign, it's so hard to eventually find the list of Discussions ! There's a huge heap of Help resources and other more or less related navigational stuff, sometimes an undistinguishable mention of (some) popular forum categories, and a few traces of the most recent discussions. But only by typing search terms and jumping from the prompts, or taking a detour from the "Recent" list down below, I can get to the top level page of the Discussions.I do understand and appreciate that this approach might assist a first or casual forum visit, but a routined forum member probably prefers a more direct inroad to the Discussions.By now, every type of support page has turned into a vast buffet of all and more or less redundant help resource available at Adobe. The main website's product feature page, the HelpX pages that used to mimic the all-covering manuals, the Forum landing pages, even the Adob
