Sirs or madams,i logged on today with my usual email name and password.i noticed, in posting, that i was listed as having joined the forum today (general photoshop), today. I then i realized that i had a new screen name, which screen mane is a part of my personal info. then i discovered that my email address was clearly visible. i don't remember under which name it logged me in under at the time, but i assume it was the new name.I am a several years member with screen name"VINSOLO". MyADDITIONAL screen name, apparently added today is "SOLOMITO".i can log on under either name. i have done the usual things an my iMac, emptying caches, etc., to no avai.i am now loggede on as "vinsolo"help please.l

Which I would find perfectly all right if they were participating officially as Adobe staff. However, there are several cases where it is quite evident that they are only posting their own personal opinions. Which, unfortunately, at times are wrong, or show that they do not understand the problem being discussed, perhaps because of language problems.The fact that staff messages are highlighted by a different background only makes the problem worse. Just tried to change my zimezone in 'yourstuff'-'preferences' but on saving it says there has been an error (shown below) but it doesn't show the error and the timezone doesn't change.Is this a bug or something to do with my settings maybe?

I get the following error in Chrome when I try to set my time zone to +10 for Brisbane, same in Firefox. Also the buttons look a little odd.

It seems that the contrasting white background of some posts are back in some forums.They seem to apply to staff, but only in certain forums, such as this case,http://forums.adobe.com/message/4590383#4590383but not in this case,http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1038853?tstart=0It is quite disturbing, and bewildering because the post with the Correct label has the white background too.I hope this is something that will quietly go away again.

Hello,I own Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Master Collection. I am taking a class in Fireworks 6 so I need access to that version. 1. Can I get a 30 trial, then pay a monthly subscription fee for just Fireworks after my trial ends so I can finish my class? 2. How much does that cost... just for a Fireworks subscription? 3. Also, can I do this without messing up my current install? While viewing a thread in the Adobe forums my Avast! Antivirus blocked a script running in Firefox. It attempted to download a trojan to my PC. Hello, I'm new to Flash (using Flash CS5.5 on Mac OSX) and am trying to make a stop motion animation using photos that were created in a layered psd file and then turned into individual jpegs. There are many of them (400 and will be more) and I'm trying to find a way to make the process more automated. What I think I want to do is import the images into the Flash library and then have each image be a blank keyframe. I can do this by copying and pasting into place each individual image, but this is way too time consuming. I assume there is some straightforward way to automate copying and pasting each images into consecutive blank keyframes... but so far haven't had much luck.Open to other suggestions and appreciate any help!

Then, things seemed to have been fixed, where the OP's query WAS shown as the first Reply in the thread. As a professional company of this size, having a pre-selected download of McAfee antivirus when performing a standard flash update is a very aggressive manipulation of what should be a fairly effortless process. Have the option there, fine, but don't pre-select it. There are certain to be thousands of users not needing the software nor wanting it installed, that might stumble into an installation and waste time trying to prevent an install, or worse confused at just what exactly is being installed and the complications that will arise.What's really horrible about this is that it's already done, this is already happening to many users right now who are downloading the newest flash update. This kind of aggressive user manipulation is going too far. I was told by an Adobe Live Chat Representative that I needed to upgrade from CS4 to CS6 if I wanted to add a forum to my website. When I tried to learn how, I found an earlier forum discussion that said you can't make a forum directly in Dreamweaver unless you can hand-program in PHP or SQL. Instead you have to use an outside software package (such as phpBB) and integrate it into your existing website. So I need to know:1) Can you create forums using the tools available in CS6?2) Can you integrate a forum desgined using a package such as phpBB into a Website designed in CS6?3) Do I have to upgrade to CS6, or can I accomplish the same thing with CS4?Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I have noticed lately an alarming increase in the number of posts with signatures including much private information that has to be later removed. In my ignorance, I tend to associate this with the increasing numbre of people posting from their mobile phones.Regardless of the causes for this, can something be done to automatically prevent this from happening? As I understand things, once such data has been posted in a public forum such as this, the damage is already done and cannot be corrected simply by deleting the data from the post.Of course, I am perfectly aware that the responsibility for not posting sensitive personal data lies with the poster, not with this site.

TO ADOBEIt appears to me that each "improvement" in the fora (nod to Hunt) leads to more difficulty for those trying to answer the questions of Adobe Users.On May 24 the thread "Known Issues with New Skins" listed 27 problems.  In the last 2 months just 6 issues have been corrected.  This sends a strong signal that Adobe does not care about the opinions of those that respond to users every day, and so they are snubbing the one bright spot in Adobe customer service.Then a week ago the number of comments per page was reduced from 50 to 10, and after complaints on this forum, it was increased to 15, but nowhere near the 50 requested.  Again, more difficulty in reading and responding to the fora.All these "improvements"  make in more difficult to read and respond to users questions, and the response from Adobe and Jive is just abysmal.  For sure, there are a few Adobe personnel that sympathize with our plight, but the overall tone of Adobe is one of  "it is do

The Adobe site uses a fixed font size on many, if not most pages.This is almost illegible on high resolution monitors and, as it is fixed, zooming the page enlarges everything you don't need to enlarge and keeps the body copy the same illegible size.Using a 27" Apple monitor, the copy shows up on screen at a miniscule 6.75 pt. I have to use a hardware zoom to read the blinkin' content.How is this a good thing? Can't figure out why they dropped the relational font size tag.By the way, I couldn't find any website feedback link. I hope an Adobe rep is following this forum.Thanks,-TY

There are however a few curious things:1. No message in the thread is marked as the correct answer.2. The author of the question was last logged in these forums in December 2009, when there was no button for marking an answer as correct.3. The thread was revived in June 2011 by someone with the same problem, but there were no further posts until today.4. Today's only post is the first post by someone who appears just as "member".5. To the best of my knowledge, there has never been a moderator in the forum in Spanish.6. Well, if you're brazillian you'll have to pay U$ 94,99/m. Photoshop, for example, in the br-store it's U$ 1.159,00. And that applies for every adobe productI cannot understand why Adobe would set the prices higher in a sub-developed country, where minimun wage is 4 times lower then north americans. When I visit the Photoshop Forum and click on a post, any post, the page that loads is scrolled to the bottom.http://forums.adobe.com/community/photoshop/generalI am on an early 2008 Mac Pro, with 10 GB RAM, running Mountain Lion, browser is Safari 6.0, but this also happened in Safari 5. This also happened under LIon. No matter which post I open, I land at the bottom of the page instead of the top.
