Hello,I need some help! I use Adobe Acrobat 9 Version 9.4.5. I am editing a doument in Spanish and cannot get the spell check dictionary to change from English to Spanish. I go to Edit, then preferences, then spelling and I uncheck English and check Spanish. It allows me to change it, but when I go back to the document all of the spelling suggestions are in English. Then when I go back to preferences, the English is checked again as my dictionary.Please somebody help!!!Thank you!

If this is not allowed please delete;I have contacted adobe services but have not gotten a response.We are looking at changing from a pc enviroment to a mac enviroment, moving from a mix of frame and InDesign to all InDesign with a work flow shared between several departments instead of scattered how things are now. Anyone have any reccommendations on a consulting firm that specializes in this type of stuff to come evaluate and suggest and implement change.

Hi Guys, I have several DIV layers showing and hiding on HTML/JS nav buttons. One of these DIV layers contains an FLV and is set to autoplay on.  it's not visible due to the hide but the FLV's audio continues. this problem facing in IEHow can I stop/pause (and/or rewind) the playback of an flv in a DIV when that DIV is hidden through a standard HTML/JS nav button??? I want to upload a pdf in the Acrobat Scripting forum so people can troubleshoot my scripts but the Forum software won't accept PDF.I don't have a personal site to host it.Anybody know of a site that can host such a thing?

I'm probably a neo-N3N00b3.   I have DW CS5.  My friend has the same DW.  She helped me design a web sight using Photo Shop for the banner and for images.  I downloaded her work onto a thumb drive.  On her computer the complete web site would show when accessed from the thumb drive.  When I tried the thumb drive on my computer none of the images or the banner showed.  Any ideas as to why???

I'm trying to download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. At about 80% complete, I get the following error message: " The download did not pass the integrity check (162103.304.450)." Dones anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

About an hour and a half ago, I was unable to get into the forums.Below is a screenshot of what it looked like (Illustrator).I tried ticking New>Discussion (in the strange appearance of this forum), but the everything remained the same, although there seemed to be a link.I wondered whether this was the great upgrade, but obviously not.Were we (plural) down?

I'm not sure where to go with this problem. I've tried searching for help and calling Adobe. They tell me that there is no help for problems with the forum itself.I have started a new discussion in the Ajax Spry forum. Someone replied to my question, I replied to him, and he replied back to me (all successful so far). When I tried to reply to his second post, I couldn't. I get error messages saying that I can't post a blank message (the message wasn't blank, and I was logged on at the time). I went back to the email I received saying that there had been a post. It said that I could repond to the post by replying to the email. I tried that, and got back mail saying that my email was undeliverable.I've tried both of these routes several times over the past two hours, in case there is some kind of temporary problem with a server, but I keep getting the same results. Can anyone either suggest a soluton or tell me where I can go for help on something like this?

I went to go to a friends site and I was presented with a Threat Message (from AVG) saying that "Threat Detected" File Name:  (friends site) Threat Name: Explot MDAC ActiveX Code Execution (type 290)I want to help him fix whatever has happend as I know he is not wanting to spread viruses or other threats around.Any advice on what to do?Thanks!

I am not the only one to think that the Report Spam thread is not the proper place to carry discussions on any topic, even if they are related to spam, spammers, or ways to fight spam. Such discussions unnecessarily clutter the Spam thread, even making it difficult to see if the spam one is about to report has been reported before or not.The idea isn't mine; it was posted in the Spam thread by someone else, but I am willing to back it here. Could we have a thread to discuss spam related topics, and move there the messages posted recently on the subject in the Spam thread?Thanks.

Forum searching hasn't worked correctly for some time now. No results are returned if searching within specific forums.For example, searching for the term "adobe" returns no results.Searching the forums without specifying a specific forum area still works as long as you search from the main search box but returns results from all forums.

When I use Dynamic Link to transfer a ppro project into encore it transfers fine but when I try to build the dvd encore will give me a source code error and eject the dvd after the writing process has started.  When I transfer a test project that is just a couple of video clips, 10 to 20 seconds long, encore builds the dvd just fine.  If I try building a regular project in the flash format it works fine.  I have tried everything I know of.  I have notice that when I use the dymanic link to transfer a project to encore that is just a couple of clips, the timeline in encore looks normal.  When I try transferring a regular ppro project of 30 to 60 minutes the timeline in encore is pink.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Both programs are CS5.

The forums have returned to the veeeeeery slow load times these past few days, with 10, 20, even 30 seconds to load a single page not uncommon.  Those numbers are fine, but they should read in milliseconds, not seconds.What's up Adobe?

When I print a pdf document some of the lines of text are a lighter black than the rest of the copy. This only happens with pdfs and it isn't always in the same location on the page. Are there settings I'm missing?

It has been awhile, and several threads, but I have seen nothing recent on the progress on the Forum Search Function.Can anyone comment on the status of Search, in the forums?Went looking for some simple search criteria, limited to just the Premiere Pro CS5/CS5.5 Forum. There have been some recent threads on an issue, but Adobe Forum Search will not turn up anything, when limited to that, or the Premiere root. Bogus!Google will yield millions of hits, but by the time I filter out all the words on "hacked" versions of PrPro, etc., I have a 3 page exclusions list. It is easier for me to just go and read the last 1000 recent posts in that forum, to find what I am looking for.Also, searching on the exact forum URL, the first 10,000 hits are old spam posts, that have been long removed.This is still very frustrating, and I can only hope that things are progressing and an estimated time/date for implementation in near.Thanks,Hunt

I am new to iMac, running Mac OS X version 10.6.7, but have been using Pagemaker 7.0 for years. I upgraded to InDesign this week, and purchased InDesign CS5 Classroom in a Book to get me started. The second step of the first lesson is to save the example file with a new name. When I do so, I get the reply:Cannot save "01_Start.indd" under a new name. the file "DBTmp4101602852866" is damaged (Error code: 0).Any attempt to "save as" gets the same reply.Where do I go for help on this?

I have a question about Adobe's software in general, not a specific program. (I have a suite and the issue effects all of the programs within, not just photoshop (for example))Is there a place within this forum for me to pose a question like this? The Reader forum has been spammed since about 10 hours ago. Despite the several reports in the Spam thread, the spam messages are still piling up. This is making the forum nearly unusable.

Adobe double charged me for my software, then tells me, I need to call them back, I have been on hold for several hours trying to get a refund, not to mention it took me several days to get my software ordered correctly they kept entering my order wrong.  Their customer service is completely incompetent.
