Using the Community

Whenever I use the quote functionality in these forums the actual quotes are preceded by code.  I don't see this happening to most others. What am I doing wrong?

Is there any way to generate a report of the system usage on a day-to-day basis in adobe connect? i would like to do this as we are hosting an adobe connect server for a university with only 250gb of space and would like to see which days are used the most. Thanks.Curtis

Hi all I have been on a "bootcamp" cs4 ace training course and found it to be a complete waste of time and cash. As it did and does not prepare you for the ACE exam. Has anybody got any free online sites that may help me do it DIY as we saySteve

I'm sure this has been discussed at length, but I am not a fan of users selecting the "right" answer and points being awarded. Many novice users do not know what the right answer is and vote incorrectly, or there are multiple right answers. I feel this just adds a competitive edge to the forums that is not helpful. I'm a competitor and, I'll admit, when I give a right answer and someone else gives the same answer and gets the "vote", I'm disappointed. There are great, helpful people in these forums and I am indebted to them, that's why I'd like to share some of the knowledge I've gain. I suppose I just need to grow up and ignore the silly point system that is now in place.

I wish Adobe would have an art contest and the prize should be the latest CS suite.

I even think I had used my real full name after seeing many of you doing the same. So, what could make these automatic changes? And I don't know what to do to get thing back the right way. Right i been wondering for a while now, say i bought a copy of Adobe CS5 Design Suite for a Macintosh platform, but i own both a Macintosh and PC could i use the same copy of Adobe CS5 Design Suite disc and install it on a PC and/or use the same product key on a PC downloaded version from the Adobe site?I don't understand why, Adobe can't just make one disc so that is can be used on both PC/ MAC platforms, the disc size is available and so is the software to install the same program for both platforms?

And i'd like to clarify if it is posible to reinstal it if my computer is totally replaced?I mean - i bought it and installed it on my current PC. Using FF 3.6.10, this is what I'm seeing (it's happened before). Things are cut off on the right hand side. Not sure about any other browsers.

I can't print any PDF Documents any more. I checked and have the current version. I have tried to print on two different printers and it still doesn't work. I can print using other programs like MS Word and Excel. Do I need to reinstall?

I just changed my Adobe-ID from my (very) old e-mail address to my current one. So far, so good.But if I look at my profile in the Adobe support forum, it still shows my old e-mail address.Is there a time lag in between changing the ID and the update to the forum profile,or has the e-mail address of the forum profile to be changed through other means?

There is no search box in the AS3 forum like in the AS1 and 2 forum.Please check it out asap.

This was posted in a question in another Adobe forum... about a site saying they will sell Education software to anyone[link removed]I don't know where to post this... so could a Moderator send that link to Adobe's legal team?

Since my recent download of Adobe Reader 9.1.3, none of my adobe documents [hundreds] can be printed.  I've followed all your proposed "helps" to no avail, and when I attempt to uninstall adobe reader, I get a message saying something about a missing patch.   At least tell me everything about all of your "patches" so I can uninstall this mess.  This is the only program I have ever been unable to uninstall.   So I cannot even rid myself of this defective program.  What do you suggest?  Nothing works so far.

I'm looking at Adobe and was wondering what product you would reccomend for creating basic web forms?Any input would be grealy appreciated!
