Recently, at least four times out of five, Start a Discussion crashes FF.And just before, trying to post a new thread in this forum using the Start a Discussion option, in this forum, the seventh attempt resulted in my looking at a page with the heading Post New Thread in Illustrator.

I have created the following form to be sent to clients.I am a newbie stumbling around in the dark.This form will be used initially by our staff who will access via Adobe Reader.The staff member will type text that is appropriate to the particular client into the following fields:- tnnClientName- freeTrialExpiryDate- tnnClientNameMainContact- dynamic rowHow are these fields locked once populated so that the enduser cannot edit.The staff user will then distribute to the enduser client who will complete the outstanding fields in the document and returns to us via email submit buttonI want this document to return to us as a PDF document.Any help would be appreciated as I am not up on scripting and I copied, pasted and fiddled until I got the dynamic row the way I wanted it (hope it is right)

I simply erroneously purchased a DUPLICATE  copy of your software on your web site, and requested a refund for the duplicate copy.Adobe cannot make returns in a good faith and timely fashion.  I have sent 5 copies of letters of software destruction with requests for a return via two web portals and fax, and have not received a single email or phone call confirming receipt of the letters, and every time I call adobe customer support i am advised to call back in a week to see if the return has been processed.  It has been 3 weeks, and my credit card bill is due.At this point I am forced to request that my bank cancel my payment to adobe due to your inadequate return process. As a professional web developer I must say that these forums are a disgrace. I wouldn't dare sell such a product.

  Good day to all!       I have a question concerning compatibility. I am a student learning programming and design. I have Adobe CS4 Web Premium bundle on my iMac. I was interested in purchasing the 13” Macbook Pro that was just released to use for school and mobile stuff. I want to install CS4 on it but I noticed that the minimum screen resolution is 1200X900 and the Macbook is only 1200X800. Would this be a problem? I know the screen would be crowded but would the software be able to run. Before I buy I want to be sure. Thanks for any comments in advance.

I was having trouble with my RAW images not being recognized. Before I could figure out that problem (needed the upgrade) I uninstalled/re-installed CS4 on a Mac. I received a pop up message saying something about duotone not being installed. There was no way i could change that, now when I run CS4 the duotone button is not active, any help is appreciated.Thanks!!

Can any of you webdesign gurus out there identify the style that specifies the line-height of body text in archived posts? Look at this post, for example. It would be much more readable if the line spacing were increased a bit, and if I knew what the style was, I could try and incorporate it into my custom.css for IE7. But because there are so many stylesheets loaded, I haven't managed to find the right one. Remember, 10 points for the first right answer .Or am I trying to do something that can't be done? Noel

How do I get this damm thing to work? I can not figure out how to get the download manager to work at all. I have read all the instructions on the website. It makes you feel stupid when something simple should be so easy. I am using Firefox. I d/l JRE. I put all the settings as per the website. When I click on D/l nothing happens. BTW I am trying to d/l a suite. When I try and d/l smaller files it works. What is going on here. I appreciate any help anyone can give me.Thanks,Sean

     Hey, basically the title says it all.. I bought CS3 for windows in 2007, and now I want to upgrade to CS4, but I don't have a windows computer anymore, I only have a Mac.  So is there anyway to upgrade from my windows cs3 to mac cs4 without having to buy a whole new product?  I've heard rumors you can, but I haven't had any luck yet, I was hoping for some help here, thanks!

hi all,I would like to incorporate a simple preloader in dreamweaver, i.e so while the page is loading it displays loader, so that the visitor does not have to see each and every part of the page loading? could someone please advise on the easiest way of doing so, including a simple preloader as well?thank you

I have tried to post via email several times today with bizarre results. First a reply to a thread in this forum - it didn't appear, and I didn't get a non-delivery report. I then forwarded the same post as a new thread starter in the Testing sub-forum. Same again. Then I did the same again - and this time it appeared, not once but three times (so far). That is, three copies of the last transmission - the failed messages were all slightly different. Some of my replies have gone through, others have just disappeared without trace. I'm hoping that the email gnomes have been wielding their screwdrivers today to improve the email service - perhaps an admin could confirm? Noel

I am doing some design and dev work for a friend's non-profit. I did this work in my CS4 Dreamweaver. Am ready to load everything onto their FTP into their MX 2004 Dreamweaver and can't seem to get things in properly. Anyone got some time/suggestions on how to get this done?

Working in Layout Mode.Create two cells of different width, fixed size.Insert text in both, fonts are different.Place one cell above the other.Always too much space between adjacent cells even though the cell layout lnes are touching.It seems as if the cells have a default padding value for text? This is never a problem when the cell content is an image.Thanks,Martin
