A little perplexing when posting questions in this forum.Since this is an Adobe forum a question was raised on whether Adobe outsourced their subscription managemt. Seemed like an innoucus question. This was not intended to flame Adobe since I have been using their apps for the past 20 years. However, someone in the forum decided it was flaming and shot back a very curt response. I provided a response to inform the person to read the question from original post. I then get a response from same locking the thread? Also provided was a link to policy on rude and profanity. This was very perplexing since the post or subsequent follow ups contained neither. In order to try to get a more detailed response in what was wrong with the question posed. The individual sends a response to please refrain from sending private messages? If thread is locked how is one suppose to understand the reasoning? Since apparently some individuals can block messages based on their percep

I want to share with Adobe a new tool suggestion. How can I do that?
If I go to a user profile - for example, my own - at the top of the page is a search entry window: As illustrated it very clearly says "Search this user's posts". I interpret this to mean that a term I enter here will be used to list posts that this user has made that match the search term. If I - for example - type "relink" in this search bar, I expect it to find post this user (in this example, me) has made with the term "relink" in them. Instead I get this: ... 3000 search hits, none of which are made by the user in question (in this example, me). (I can assure you that I have not made 3000 posts that include the word "relink"). Not working as expected. R. [NOTE: DO NOT MOVE THIS POST TO THE PREMIERE PRO FORUM. THIS IS A BUG REPORT / QUESTION ABOUT THE ADOBE SUPPORT COMMUNITY FUNCTIONALITY.]
OK... it's good that Adobe is asking for forum feedbackNow is it possible for that survey to have a MEMORY of the fact that I have already filled it out... so it will STOP interrupting my browsing sessions in the various forums?
The length of time that the PPro forum takes to load (both initially and for "next page" loads) continues to get longer and longer. It's probably 20 seconds or more now of lag. It's suprising to me that Adobe would not want to monitor and maintain its forums to industry leading standards. R.

Every time I sign in to Adobe Support Community I get this dialog asking my cookie preferences: Every time I then click "Customize" (why isn't "Don't Enable" available here? Typical.) ... and I then click "Don't Enable" in the resulting dialog here:And I get this response:Here's the question: What, exactly does "We've saved your settings" mean if I have to reset these setting every time I sign in? Every time. R.[NOTE: DO NOT MOVE THIS POST TO THE PREMIERE PRO FORUM. THIS IS A BUG REPORT / QUESTION ABOUT THE ADOBE SUPPORT COMMUNITY FUNCTIONALITY.]
Update: it miraculously works now When I try to embed an "unlisted" YouTube video, such as this, it says the following, even though Unlisted videos are public, and only hidden from YouTube search results:You are attempting to upload a private video. A private video cannot be played in the community. Please try your upload again with a video that is public to all viewers.
Adobe are regarded as the industry standard of design software, so it seems ironic (or embarrassing) that this website is so poorly designed. I came here simply wanting to post a question about Flash Player but found it the whole experience to be confusing, bewildering and frustrating. I will list my ten major criticisms below: 1. ILLEGIBLE FONTS Many of the site's styles (eg discussion titles) use horribly small fonts, to the point of being illegible and nauseating at normal viewing distance. I have to lean forwards towards the screen to read it. I have never had this issue with any other site I visit. The font used is not a screen font and is simply not suitable for being displayed at that size and looks quite ugly (eg lower case 'e' has no hole). In addition, some of the styles use almost illegible colors (eg gray on lighter gray). This kind of "minuscule" typography might be perfect for a small space (eg application control panels), but for a website displayed on a mo

Dear Adobe Community Members,As a long-time user of Adobe Creative Cloud, I have seen firsthand the incredible power of these tools. However, one problem that I have noticed on our community forum is the prevalence of piracy and illegal software usage.Piracy not only hurts the creative industry by taking away revenue from legitimate software developers, but it also puts users at risk by exposing them to potential security threats and malware. Additionally, it undermines the value of legitimate software and discourages innovation and creativity. As a community, we must work together to address this problem and promote the use of legal, licensed software. One solution is to educate users on the dangers and consequences of using illegal software, and to encourage them to invest in legitimate versions of Adobe Creative Cloud.Another solution is to provide more affordable options for users who may be hesitant to invest in full versions of the software. Adobe already offers discounted rates f
Is there a way to prevent someone from showing up as "following" me or erase that user if he's already there in that capacity in my profile? There are some users I certainly don't want to be associated with by the forum software. I feel like I'm being stalked by a nut.If there's no way to achieve that, then that's a significant bug, even a deal breaker.
How to you change the setting on how it notifies people by email

Everything is correct on my account except my email address shows up as my screen name despite my screen name being specified in my profile. Please help.
I spent so much time trying how to start a new discussion on the Adobe Illustrator forum that I actually had to google how to post on the Adobe forums. Luckily I found the following post: Instructions on how to post a question in a forum Down the bottom there is a helpful image of where to click to start a new discussion. This is a terrible user experience. Unless Adobe is trying to discourage users from posting on their forums they really should make this more obvious. Is there a issue report for the Adobe forums them self?
I have several times tried to stop following a thread in the PDF's forum about security issues and i still keep getting flooded with emails from this thread. I used the action within the thread that says stop following but appears to have no effect I still keep getting from 5 to 20 emails daily. Please help!!!!!!!
I have reported spam in the very little used PostScript forum, and nothing has happened. Reports in other forums are generally acted on promptly. Does it depend on moderators happening to visit a particular forum?
how to lock account or delete post
How do I change this??
If you are in the US, you are probably unaware of this, but when you google how to do something in an Adobe product and inevitably get a result from adobe.com, clicking through from another place in the world pups this annoying popup over whatever page you go to: Are you visiting adobe.com from outside your region? Visit your regional site for more relevant pricing, promotions and events. Over time, this becmes a really really really REALLY annoying. You cannot appreicate it if you live in the US like the person who made the popup. Perhaps if it's so important that you put the popup on the site (as opposed to just chaging the way your site works), maybe just stick it up on pages where the visitor is actually looking to buy something, not get support? Or, I dunno, use a cookie to determine that the vistor has been here in the last couple of months (at least) and redirect (still awful).
