Video Hardware

Hi all...I'm looking to purchase a laptop to use primarily to make videos using premiere pro. I have read the specs, but would like to hear from those of you who have recommendations based on experience. I will also be using other adobe apps - illustrator, after effects etc.When I google this, I only seem to get affiliate links to amazon etc. Would really like to know about actual working experience and good performance...Many thanks in advance and hopefully this will be useful to others as well...

Bonjour à tous.  Utilisatrice récente d'Adobe ...je voulais utiliser adobe premiere pro et pas de bol il semble que ma configuration systeme de PC ne soit pas compatible des versions adobe premiere pro.    Mon PC actuel : un acer gamer Predator PH317-52 que j'ai depuis 2019 seulement... Processeur intel core i5-8300H CPU 2.30 gHz. Carte graphique Nvidia GEforce GTX1050Ti.  Intel UHD graphics 630 et  8GoRAM   Impossible de mettre à jour les pilotes pour être compatible.    Je me tourne vers la communauté pour avoir des conseils et aide si quelqu'un s'est déjà retrouvé dans ce cas de figure. Si oui, avez-vous pu faire évoluer votre configuration ?   ou alors avez-vous dû acheter un autre PC avec une configuration suffisante ? Dans le dernier cas, que me conseilleriez-vous à prix pas trop élevé ?    Merci pour vos réponses 🙂       

Recently i've bought a new HP Spectre x360. Specs below. But after minutes of launching Adobe- programs (especially without charger connected, but also then i'm only saving a bit more time) my laptop is receiven a Blue Screan: VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE, nvlddmkm_sys error. HP Spectre x360 15 |15.6 inch UHD |10th gen i7 |1TB SSD |16GB RAM |NVIDIA GeForce MX330 I've been searching for solutions, but cannot find anything that works. Especiall because I've found that MX330 might be a bit poor for adobe programs (although my previous laptop, adobe worked fine on only Intel® UHD Graphics 620). What can I do? Is there any way to check if my GPU is functioning correctly?Thanks in advance!

Hi,I am getting into after effects and blender and I want to purchase a windows laptop for the same( not a desktop because of travelling requirements)Now, since I am begining any system with good configuration would help me learn and would be able to handle the basic animations one learn at the start... but what I am looking for it is that the system lasts me atleast 3 years by when I will be able to do compex stuff.... Hi everyone I need help shell i buy i7 with Intel 12th generation and 16 gb ram with RTX 3070 8GB graphic card LAPTOP OR intel i9 12th generation laptop with 32gb ram and 4gb rtx 3050ti graphic card for after effects ( rendering time dosent matter but preview of the footage should be lag free ).And will it be future proof from the point of view keeping in mind about the after effects software

Hello, So I found the list of grphic cards that Adobe recommends for PP... and sadly mine isn't on there.. It still half way decent... its an invida 760ti...  anyways, i was wondering if i upgrade to a 1050 that is listed on the recommendations if that will run cuda. to be clear, priemere runs now on my system, it just doesn't have the cuda stuff which i found out ill probably need... I do lots of muliticamera editing and it starts to bug out when I am watching things in double speed... I'm hoping this could be solved by upgrading my GPU and not my CPU... anyways, the question is... does PP have cuda support for a gtx 1050 or 1080... just because it says "recommended" doesn't mean that it will actually support cuda.  thoughts? please and thank you

Hi,I want to start working on adobe package,and i want to prepare a healthy scheme for a computer.I want to use it for creating music, big resolution posters, vector and photographic.Posters like 50cm x70cm, maybe till 200x200cm ...So, i only know it has to have good space, good memory( big ram usage) a good kooler for a processor and a video with good rendering.What would you suggest?Please, help is important.

My wife has been experiencing issues launching Adobe Premier Pro ever since she updated it a few weeks ago.  I began troubleshooting the issue then but because of my limited time it has dragged out and she has been unable to use a program that we pay monthly for. Background on the PC:  I built it from scratch 1 year ago. Windows 7 Pro, 64-bit, Intel I5, Geforce 1060 6BG, complete with 4k monitor.  All hardware installed by me, all software installed & maintained by me. I followed various threads on this forum and eventually was able to get Premier Pro (PP) to launch. For a total of 4 days before the issue popped back up.  That's when my wife, trying to help, got on screen sharing with Adobe support while I was away at the office. I asked that she not do it because I was afraid of what might happen....and my worst fears came true.After 5 hours I come home and find that my PC has been completely wiped of any custom settings. Hello! When I work in After Effects and Premiere is usual to get a bluescreen with the following information:- What failed: AcmeVideo.sys    /   Stop Code: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA- Stop Code: DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION- Stop Code: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL- KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_ERROR  Specs of the pc's- AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 12-Core Processor 4.70 GHz- 128 GB (127 GB usable)- Windows 11 Pro- MSI GeForce RTX 4080 GAMING X TRIO 16GB GDDR6XAll the drivers and Windows are up to date. I tried:most recent drivers for nvidiadrivers from beginning this yearreinstalling windows completely (on the second PC), drivers, etc and then After Effects and still the same problem. Does someone have a solution for this? Many Thanks!

Hey everyone, I am looking into buying a new laptop with the primary purpose being to edit my videos using Premiere Pro. The main goal really is to have a laptop that runs very smoothly. I have had so many issues with other computers and laptops with Premiere Pro randomly closes by itself, the video editing is choppy, playback is atrocious, and overall the experience is just very frustrating. If you're able, could you give me any advice on solid laptops that don't completely break the bank (probably with a cap of $1,500) that would be good for this? I am new to the group and I come with a question: which of these 3 options is better to have a good performance in editing videos in FHD and 4K and creating 3D motion graphics in after effects? I ask you because in the place where I work they are requiring me videos in FHD and 4K, plus animations in After Effects with high motion load, also 3D renders in Maya, these are the only 3 options I can opt for. For work ill be doing graphics / video editing (vids will likely be in 4k) and will be using Creative Cloud, ie premiere pro, after effects. The company got a Lenovo 11th Gen Intel(R) Core, Intel UHD graphics, NVIDIA T600 GPU, CPU 2304MHz, 16GB RAM, 512GB M.2 NVMe SSD. I'm a bit concerned this isn't going to be able to run smoothly, but I could be completely wrong. Could anyone offer some advice on this?
