Is there any recommended graphic card for all adobe apps?
So I am currently about to build a new Windows PC machine for my main editing work, based on Z690 and Intel 13900K.I have stuck with my DDR4 as want to re-use the 64GB of fast RAM I haveNow remaining question is if I should rebuild with Windows 10 Pro 64bit ?.My feeling is yes - but wanted to get comments from users on Windows 11 - particularly on any specific issues and (importantly) Performance backward steps. I saw an early post showing performnace on Windows 11 was notably worse (Puget banchmark) - that was back in 2021 though.I read that before Premiere Version 22.x there were issues with Windows 11 for support of older projects.I also see Puget Systems using Windows 11 on systems builds.Any recommendations / and or horror stories welcomed before I hit the go button on the Upgrade build !.
What PC video graphics card should I upgrade to for the newest upcoming version of Adobe Premiere AND will be up to specs for Oculus Quest VR (versions 1 and 2)? I currently have EVGA GeForce GT 740 4GB GDDR5 Dual DVI mHDMI Graphics Card. More information:Adobe just informed me that I will need to upgrade my graphics card before the new version of Adobe Premiere is released. I also have the first and second version of Oculus Quest VR headsets and have wanted the ability to connect them to my PC, but again, my graphics card has not been up to their stated specs. Ideally, I would like a graphics card that can handle both. I am a user of programs, but honestly, I am not an in-the-weeds techy guy so I get lost quickly in the specs and have no idea which card from their lists will be “best.” Attached is the list of my current PC specs. Hello all,So I’ve been thinking of upgrading my pc:AMD 2700xGeForce GTX 1660 SUPER TUF 6GB64gb RAM2TB nvmeWindows 11 But I’m not sure if I will get better performance upgrading my graphic card or the CPU.I mainly work with 4K/6k files of a Panasonic s5ii and I use proxies in my workflow but sometimes I need to render some effects in timeline to get a smooth playback which sometimes takes some time. What you guys recommend? Thanks in advance!
I have been struggling to get this project to finish because of the necessary over-editing that I’m doing, and the project itself has grown to be so laggy and premier is crashing every now and then because of this. The project relies on dynamic link cuz I have imported some things over from AE, but I’ve also been using a crap ton of plugins from Boris FX and Red Giant and much more.My current rig:GTX 1660ti16GB of ramRyzen 5 3600x
Hello Everyone,I'm going to build a video editing PC. Will the GTX 1660 SUPER D6 6GB GDDR6 Graphics Card work with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro CC 2022? I don't know anything about Graphics Cards for Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro CC. Please let me know if you can assist me with purchasing a graphics card.Thanks.
Finally planning my move from a 2018 i7 Mac Mini + eGPU - spec'ing a Max studio (10/32/64gb RAM) but am unsure about 1tb vs 2 tb ssd in terms of performance. It's a pricy upgrade, but it may be worth it, especially a couple of years down the road? Heavy Lightroom Classic, moderate Premiere, PS and Audition/Izotope user. Usually one stream of 4k or 5.7k log footage, maybe two once in awhile, usually from fast external storage. Some stabilizing, color correction, etc...nothing truly demanding for this machine, but i do wonder about the performance utility of the larger 2tb internal drive. What have you noticed in your configurations?
The 2017 iMac 27" is starting to breathe heavily, creaking under the load. Still stuck running 2020 Creative Cloud, but we've made it all work. But it's getting time.On a tight budget of course, so where's the best use of company dollars - an M1 iMac that has a 24" screen (boo - will miss my 27") or an M2 Mini with an add on monitor, and if this option, what's a good monitor these days? For background, we're a commercial printer, and it's all print prepress work, heavy Indesign, Illustrator and Acrobat work. A little Photoshop and some very minor web work. No video, no gaming. We've been working since the original days of Illustrator 88 so this is most definitely not our first rodeo in upgrades, though they come few and far between.
ryzen 5 5625u 6cores radeon graphics ram 16gb ddr4 3200ghz Will this laptop would be nice for editing 1080p?
Hi....Will the Ryzen7 5700G work well with the IGPU alone for Pr + Ae projects. The projects will be 4K footage on 1080p timelines (sometimes QuadHD timelines), but all are short format like 2-3 minute projects. Say with 30-40 short 5 sec clips on the timeline for a project. Some color grading...few fx here and there. Plz note, i have been working with an i3 6100.....yes seriously.... that too with just the HD530 iGPU....i set it to and in fact its real smooth... only thing i have to keep preview in 1/8 or 1/16 sometimes, and i dont get 1 single dropped frame. Silky smooth timeline scrub. Renders are slowwww, 1:25 ratio, as in.... a 1 min film takes 25 mins to render. The remainder of the system is reasonably fitted...... Dual Nvme (OS+Scratch)... 64gb RAM...1TB SSD for project files/footage. 7200rpm for permanant media assets. 7200rpm for complete system backup. 650w Corsair Bronze PSU. Then why do i want to upgrade ? I just would be happy if i can up my preview window r
Hello CommunityI want to buy a laptop for edit / export video to Adobe Premiere Pro. Those videos should be most of the times less than a minute duration. The source will mainly be a GoPro 11 Hero camera. The recorded video will be 4K high bitrate (many times at 120 fps) and the export resolution will be most of the times Full HD (but sometimes 4K also)The target is to export the video in the lowest export time possible! My issue is about the Laptop’s specs that I must prioritize and I am between 2 laptops with the above specs:Laptop 1: CPU i7-11800H, GPU RTX 3050Ti 4GB, RAM 32GB, Storage 2TB SSDLaptop 2: CPU i7-12650H, GPU RTX 3060 6GB, RAM 16GB, Storage 512GB SSDI don’t know how Adobe Premiere Pro will utilize the resources of each laptop in order to decide for which one to go.Will RAM 16GB be a bottleneck for the whole process? How important is RAM in comparison to CPU and GPU.Will the i7-12650H in combination with the RTX 3060 6GB with RAM 16GB will export the video faster than the i
Hello all.I'm wondering if the processor at subject is good for Adobe Premiere Pro. In the recommended list, says "Quick Sync", but, Xeon processors don't have integrated video card, so, Quick Sync too. Once the setup will retain a Nvidia's dedicated VGA, why Premiere needs a processor (Intel side) with Quick Sync? I know that Xeon processors are server-side based, but, nowadays, it's very used by final clients, as to go gaming and/or working. The model I selected is from 7th gen., supports DDR4 @ 2400MHz ECC, 18C/36T, 3.6GHz, 45MB of cache, etc., it's true brute-force/horse-power for almost all tasks. The motherboard that I selected offers 4-Channel for processor/memory modules and ECC support. The plan is to fullfill the 4 slots with 8GB ECC. VGA: Nvidia GTX/RTX with 8GB. Real and final question: Will Adobe Premiere Pro run on this setup!? If yes, how good enough!? Thanks and sorry for my bad english, isn't my native language, but all words cam
Hi all. I've just updated to v23.3, and suddenly I get a system compatability report window on opening Premiere, claiming that I'm using an "unsupported video driver" for my Quadro P2200.I've been to nVidea's site and done a clean install of the latest drivers (R525 U6 (528.89)) but to no avail.I've tried "continuing with known issues", but I've found premiere has become unstable and prone to locking up for long periods. What's gone wrong, and how do I fix it?
Hi, I'm trying to edit videos using a Mac Pro (Late 2013) running macOS 12.5.1. When I go to use Premiere Pro 2023 (v23.1), My Audio input says "System Default - 16A (Not Working)" and Audio Output says "16A". So far as I know, the issue only exists in premiere pro, and no other software applications have had any issues using the mixer as an input or output device, so, why is it having issues specifically in Premiere?
I'm trying to build a desktop to run Premiere Pro (4K). I just switched to it from years of using Premiere Elements. This HP configuration below looks a bit short of CPU and other specs at Puget, but the price is right at $1600. I priced a Dell and Lenovo at about $4,000 which seems high, though met Puget specs. I'd like to find something closer to $2,000 but the jump from below specs to $4,000 seems to be all I can find. Any suggestions? Hi all...I'm looking to purchase a laptop to use primarily to make videos using premiere pro. I have read the specs, but would like to hear from those of you who have recommendations based on experience. I will also be using other adobe apps - illustrator, after effects etc. When I google this, I only seem to get affiliate links to amazon etc. Would really like to know about actual working experience and good performance...Many thanks in advance and hopefully this will be useful to others as well...
Recently i've bought a new HP Spectre x360. Specs below. But after minutes of launching Adobe- programs (especially without charger connected, but also then i'm only saving a bit more time) my laptop is receiven a Blue Screan: VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE, nvlddmkm_sys error. HP Spectre x360 15 |15.6 inch UHD |10th gen i7 |1TB SSD |16GB RAM |NVIDIA GeForce MX330 I've been searching for solutions, but cannot find anything that works. Especiall because I've found that MX330 might be a bit poor for adobe programs (although my previous laptop, adobe worked fine on only Intel® UHD Graphics 620). What can I do? Is there any way to check if my GPU is functioning correctly? Thanks in advance!
Anyone know why my file transfer speed suddenly drops from 292 MB/s to 83 MB/s after awhile.
Hello,I'm thinking of buying a mac studio 32gb, 1tb SSD but I'm in doubt if I choose with a 24 or 32 core GPU.I'm a designer and my work is mainly in illustrator and photoshop, which one do you think you should choose? ThanksVanda

Hello everyone, I'm trying to build a pc and I'm kinda on budget, I need it mostly to run Photoshop, InDesign and premier.Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the last one is the one with the highest demands, so I thought on building one just good enough for it.Here is what I found on Amazon:CPU Intel i3 https://amzn.eu/d/1o9K5ysGPU GeForce GTX 1050 Ti https://amzn.eu/d/b4stvzxmotherboard Intel H510 https://amzn.eu/d/hnB2a11 Power supply https://amzn.eu/d/9MJDMekRAM https://amzn.eu/d/bvbSYWUCASE https://amzn.eu/d/2hc4Fea So here is the question, what con i downgrade? Is there a site where I can find something cheaper?I think the GPU is kinda overkill but I can't find anything cheaper on Amazon, also I think the heavy lifting in premier is done by the GPU am I right? So with such an expensive GPU is it enough a pentium/celereon? Thanks everyone for the help, Sorry for such a long post😅
Hi! Does anyone know how much buying SSD, RAM and CPU can help in editing process?Any resouce to read is also appriciated. Thanks!
