Hello -- I am unable to install adobe reader dc -- fails to complete installation because "newer version already installed' -- I do not have any adobe reader version installed -- I have tried all solutions I have found in forum so far -- including 1) download and run adobe cleaner tool --still will not complete installation -- my Lenovo support team has tried many solutions -- none successful --  my last attempt resulted in ERROR 1722 - there is a problem with this windows installer package --Contact your support personnel or package vendor -- I was using installer package from Adobe Reader -- Can anyone provide a solution to this problem??Thanks for any assistance -- Steven21Downloading, Installing, Setting Up​Acrobat Reader​ !

We've got about 150 workstations, last week, a small number of users from different departments and offices started reporting issues of Acrobat Reader freezing when opening PDFs. We've tried reinstalling the software, including using the acrobat cleaner tool however it doesn't fix the issue. The reinstall has been tried through two different methods - via Chocolately and manually after downloading the installer from Adobe's website. However neither has corrected the issue. The impacted workstations are a mix of Windows 10 Enterprise, and Windows 11 Enterprise with no updates pending, Acrobat is a mix of the previous version, and the current (23.006.20320).I've tried pushing out a registry entry via Group Policy to disable protected mode, and while it does indeed disable protected mode, it doesn't prevent it from the program locking up. Is anyone able to offer any advice or recommendations?

Ciao, ho Adobe Reared DC e lo uso per scrivere. Apro il file pdf, clòicco su COMMENTO, poi su AGGIUNGI COMMENTO DI TESTO. Clicco dove voglio scrivere e fatto. Fino a ieri .... Oggi scrivo ma poi quando mi sposto diventa tutto trasparete 🙂 In pratica il commento c'è ma è come se fosse nascosto. Come vedete dall'allegato a dx c'è il testo sche ho scritto, ma non si vede (in mezzo). Giuro che sto impazzendo e non so cos'ho toccato .... Mi aiutate? Grazie.

Anyone had this or know how to fix it?  Started a couple of days ago and now all my pdf's open looking like they are on squared paper on screen.  it doesn't affect the printing but it looks really weird on screen.

How do i prevent Adobe Acrobat DC from printing reverse pages by default

I have to fill out a government-issued pdf form. The form comes partially pre-filled and all I have to do is add my signature to it. I urgently need to sign it and send it back in order to get paid. I have a paid-for Adobe account & saved, ready-made signatures, so on the app, I tap on 'Sign', insert the signature, tap the tick box indicating 'Save', and when I try to export/save as/print/email to the signed form, the signature just disappears, the field is empty. I've tried it on laptop, too, but same thing: signature is successfully inserted, but when it's saved/exported the signature field is blank. Sometimes when I click on the field, I can see the outline of a signature image. I have a touch screen, so I tried drawing a new signature, too, instead of inserting, and that didn't work either.  I even tried to fill out the blank form, without the pre-filled fields. I am trying to link from Excel 365 to a *bookmark* in Acrobat. I can get it to link to the PDF and open it, beginning on page one. It will not link to a bookmark. But I have to work with PDF documents that are hundreds of pages long - so I have to link the user to a particular portion of the document using a bookmark.Thanks

Hi, The Dutch government has a new system in which the legality of certificates can be checked with Adobe Reader, as the blue bar (shown in the picture) should appear in an official legal document. For our organization, we need to check the legality of diploma's. However, we work on Chromebooks and this blue bar does not appear on the desktop version nor the chrome extension. Anyone that knows how I can make this bar appear or how I can check the legality of the documents in a different manner?

I'm very frustrated.  Adobe Acrobat Reader has stopped working on my Windows 11 machine.  It will allow me to open the file with Microsoft Edge, but not with the native Adobe Acrobat Reader program or Google Chrome.  I've tried using the Adobe Cleaner and re-install the application, but it's still not launching the application.  Any help is appreciated!!!

Olá pessoal, tudo bem?Sou Fabricio e estou com um problema para imprimir um arquivo no adobe reader.No meu computador esta tudo OK, como o tamanho da folha foi criada em outro programa (AutoCad) antes de criar o pdf, eu consigo imprimir no meu computador facilmente. Mas em outro computador não estou tendo o mesmo sucesso, o programa não esta reconhecendo o tamanho do papel, ja fiz várias tentativas: desinstalei/instalei o drive da impressora e o Adobe e o problema persiste, papel A4. Comparei todas as opções possiveis entre o Adobe Reader dos dois computadores e a principio não tem nenhuma diferença. Alguem pode me ajudar por favor?Ambos parece ser a mesma versão. Obrigado antecipadamente!Fabricio 

This is very frustrating because on windows and ipad this works no problem, but on macbook I can't scroll through all my files from a to z. The scroll just goes to the bottom of screen and doesn't enable me to scroll down beyond what I think is all my 'a' files. Of course there is probably a simple solution, so thanks in advance for any help with this. JD

It seems that every time I use reader dc I need to enable scrolling under view > page display. Is there some way to set this as my preferred setting rather than having to manually set it each time I open a document in reader?

Does anyone know if Adobe Reader or Mircorsoft ever fixed the issue of snapshot images coming through blurry when pasted in to Microsoft Word 2010 or newer? I work for an animal hospital that frequntly has to use the "Take a Snapshot" tool to paste bloodwork pdf images into our Microsoft Word medical records. We are currently using the newest version of word which saves their documents with extension .docx and whenever we paste the snapshot image from a pdf, the pasted image is blurry.The image is not blurry when using Microsoft Word documents that are saved in the old 97-2003 .doc format, it is just the newest version of Word that is making the images blurry. When you right click on the emage and select "edit" the image clears up and is moved to the upper left corner of the page, I usually do this, then re-copy the image, delete it, then paste it where I wanted the image to go. I'v also seen from other messageboard posts that selecting "paste special" in the edit menu,

Greetings,A user has a form from the state that they have clients fill out.  The form has fields that the client fills out and returns.  The user has reported to me that the data is not visible in the form.  I have confirmed that once you open the PDF, the data is there for a split second then disappears.  It's almost as if Adobe Reader is clearing the data or hiding it.  Clicking on the fields put the cursor at the beginning of the field as if there was nothing in there previously.I have done a bit of Google searching, but have not found an answer.  I have confirmed this is occurring on both Adobe Reader 11, DC and Acrobat X Standard.  Any input is appreciated

Afternoon all, hoping you can help. Yesterday, seemingly out of the blue (no windows, office365, or adobe updates) outlook will only 'quick print' attachements if Adobe Acrobat is open in the background. If I close Adobe Acrobat, then nothing happens, outlook doesn't try to open Adobe Acrobat and nothing appears in the print queue I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Acrobat.I have also used the AcroCleaner tool, still nothing. When I have Adobe Acrobat open, and click 'quick print' Acrobat forces its way to the forefront and prints the document - so happy days - but a couple of times I have fallen foul of thinking I had printed something and hadn't and it didn't get actioned for a day or two. Anyone with this issue? Or any ideas on how to troubleshoot what's going on?

How do you adjust scroll sensitivity? When I use my trackpad, it scrolls past the page I am on very easily. This was never a problem in the past. Also, I can no longer zoom with my laptop trackpad, why?

Hello! The National Swedish Courts Administration are currently experiencing a problem with Adobe Acrobat Reader 23.006.20320. Our organization has 9000 installs of the software. The current version 23.006.20320 has introduced a problem. A user opens a PDF document with Adobe Acrobat reader 23.006.20320Proceeds to mail the document using the built in mail to function using outlook.Writes the mail.And finally sends the mail through a shared mailbox. The result is an email without any content (no body or header) just the PDF file. If we revert back to Adobe Acrobat reader 2023.003.20284 the problem is gone. We have identified two “workarounds” to the issue.Using the 23.006.20320 version but adding the step of pushing save in outlook before sending the mail.Or using another PDF reader (not adobe supplied). Not everyone using the 23.006.20320 version is affected either but our troubleshooting has not resulted in any problems with either exchange or o

I double-click on my Adobe Acrobat icon (I am using the free reader) but nothing happens.  I removed & re-iunstalled the app but had the same problem.  The pdf file type is associated with Adobe Reader.  I scanned the responses to this problem on your customer issues site but in the responses the site behind the solutions links included there were not found.Could anyone help me with this?
