Why is Adobe Acrobat Reader behaving so weirdly on Windows 10? When I select the text, it takes me back to the previous slide, and the zoom-in box randomly opens; that takes at least 1000 clicks to get shut.
My online research shows that Adobe Acrobat Reader by default updates on its own while connected to the internet. Can someone verify this and also where I can see the settings for this? I only ask because our Adobe Acrobat Reader installs are still on the same version (2023.003.20269 | 64bit) when we released the virtual desktops.
We set all our pdfs to have an inital view of "fit page" and have never had an issue. This week we were notified by web visitors (who were all using the chrome extension) that they were seeing a double first page, one small and one full screen size. Anyone not using the exension did not see this issue. I did some testing and discovered if I change the initial view setting to "default" and reloaded the pdf to our site, this no longer happens. Attached print screen - Left side is what the visitor sees. Right side I drew lines around the two since it is hard to see initally what is happening. Anyone else see this happening? Is there a way to tell if the extension was recently updated and thus the bug was introduced?
I updated my Adobe Reader to the latest version already But my past documents still cannot show Chinese characters (which added by Fill & Sign feature) Please advise the solution if possible. Thanks!
I have downloaded the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. It appears that the ability to import and export PDF form data has been entirely removed. Is that correct, or is it just really well hidden away, please?
Saludos
Hello there, We have the following Problem in our company: When the Adobe Acrobat Reader is openend everything seems normal but as soon as you move your mouse away from the Adobe window or even click onto a different window the Window Bar disappears, aswell as the Menu of Adobe Acrobat Reader, you cannot drag the window anymore or close it through you usual means. You have to go to your taskbar and close it that way. When you open the window through the Task bar the Window bar appears but as soon as you click on it, it disappears again.Trendmicro is installed Windows is on the newest Version. A Clean uninstall and a new set up with a new Windows did not work aswell. Thank you beforehand.

Very strange issue hereWindows 11Adobe ReaderIn the File Explorer Preview window, the PDF file is filled out, yet when opened, there is nothing in the forms. However, if I email it to someone (also Windows 11) and they open it in the email, it's filled out. However, if the person downloads and opens the file, it's again blank (forms are not filled). However (again) if I open the file in the email and print it as a PDF (using cutepdf) the forms are filled out. This is NOT making any sense.Any help
Je souhaite faire un copié collé d'une phrase en gardant la même couleur, taille et police d'un fichier à un autre, comment je peux faire?
HiSomeone has kindly embedded an MP4 video that I created in a PDF for me. It works and plays absolutely fine on my laptop but I cannot get it to run on my primary desktop machine. Both machines are running version 2023.006.20320The only difference that I can see is that in Preferences -> Multimedia (legacy) -> Player Options the laptop has a checkbox (which is checked) for 'Show Multimedia Controls'; this simply does not exist on the desktop (see attachment).I have now tried uninstalling, downloading and reinstalling Reader several times on my desktop and am completely stuck.I would be very grateful for any help or insight that anyone can offer.
I knew that acrobat DC offer the function in which new documents is opened as new tabs. But I couldn't find that option in the setting menu(I had already saw the method for setting the function: Preferences > General > Open documents as new tabs in the same window (requires restart)). There was no option below 'Show online storage when saving files'. ('Show online storage when saving files' was just the last option.) How can I solve this problem? -I can't reinstall acrobat DC because of 'error 28000'.(I'm using Windows 10)
Hello I am struggling to disable this window every time I start Adobe acrobat 32-bit on my W11 workstation, any advice? thanks
Hi There,I have been working on one Adobe Reader XI file and I had some annotations on it but iunfortunately i closed the file without saving it. Is there any way to regain those changes?
I use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to fill and sign a PDF form that I created. I use this same form for about 80 clients and quite a bit of the text I type is similar from file to file. It use to remember previous text I'd typed and prompt me with a drop down list of text that I could select for an autofill. Now it's not doing that. How can I get this feature reactivated? Thanks.
I have attached an image to show this weird textbox bug. Each time I put a textbox on my page and try to drag it around to adjust it, it messes up the current page's graphics and reveals some information from the previous pages (see the whitish text outside of the textbox? This is text from 2 pages ago). Similarly, when I try to use the underline tool and I am hovering over text using my mouse, it shows up as an opaque block until I release the mousepad and it underlines. Therefore, I can't see where I want to stop underlining until after I underline it. Can someone help? This is the most updated version. I disabled the new look because I don't like the interface, but I also faced the same buggy issue with that new look (or "experience").

For a few days now, every time I open a PDF file (even if Acrobat is already open), this message appears, leading to a 404 page [is says: "Acrobat shut down unexpectedly. Click on «more information» for possible solutions"] The program is working, it's updated, I've tried repairing it, uninstall/reinstall, but to no avail. What can I do? Thank you.
I'm in grad school and we have a textbook; last week I made some highlights and comments on the copy I downloaded and this week I see mine but also someone else's... I need my own copy without someone else's notes on it. But also worried my own comments and notes are public(??) which I do not want. Something to do with signatures?? Can anyone help please? Why is this even happening?!
Right now it will prompt the first PDF I download where it should save, and after that, it goes straight to downloads without asking. I like to keep files organized and want to save directly to certain folders and would like to make this my default.
Hello, I'm wondering if there is a mailing list for the latest releases of Adobe Reader DC Enterprise? I've found the release notes web page which shows the latest updates out but I'm curious if theres anyway of being notified when these land.
