Hello All, I posted this request "Garbled Characters when try to open a PDF in the Adobe Reader" and there is a long time that I do not receive any reply. I already provided all the information requested, sent email, but I thinkthe Analyst is not worry to help. Please, Is the any one to help with the issue I posted. Thanks and best regards,
I had Acrobat DC on the C: Drive, and removed it. Downloaded the Distribution version for Install.Tried to Install to the equivalent location on 😧 (I have other apps in Program Files (x86) on D:)At the Install Verification stage it fails stating that the desitination folder is not empty and 'Please select an empty folder'.I have been through every possible location I can think of to remove Adobe folders:C:/Program FilesC:/Program Files (x86)C:/Program Files (x86)/Common FilesC:/ProgramDataC:/Users/username/AppData/LocalC:/Users/username/AppData/RoamingAs well as anything on the 😧 drive.I have tried running the Adobe Acro Cleaner, but it won't run because it says there isn't an instance of it to clean up.I think the error must really mean something different.I can't think of anything else to try. Ideas anyone?
I've seen this question posted before, but have yet to find a solution. When I click a drop down menu, it appears, then disappears quickly. I have to then click it again, and it expands much larger than it should. The need to double-click is driving me crazy. I've tried repairing the installation of Adobe Reader, and even removed the program and re-installed. Any help regarding this issue would be appreciated. I've attached a sample PDF for reference. Thanks in advance.
Hi, everytime i open a pdf using Adobe Acrobat , a pop up saying "Please read and accept the Adobe General Terms Of Use" comes up and it never closes even if i click "Accept" multiple times.
How do I stop my apps from converting files to .25 files? For example, when I save a PDF from Excel using the file name "Estimate, 02.05.25" the .25 in the file name converts the file from a PDF to a .25 file instead. I can't figure out how to stop this from happening or has anyone else experienced this as well?
On my MacBook, I am using Adobe Reader in fullscreen mode (by clicking the green circle on top left of the Adobe Reader window, not by using CMD+L which is a different fullscreen mode that I do not prefer). The problem: Adobe Reader leaves the fullscreen mode constantly, e.g., after I closed my MacBook, when I plug in or unplug an external monitor, after my MacBook went to sleep mode. As I work with Spaces in Mission Control on my Mac a lot, having various programs open, only Adobe Reader shows the described behavior of leaving fullscreen mode while all other program stay in fullscreen mode all the time (e.g. Safari, Chrome, Microsoft Excel, some other apps). Any advice or help how to make Adobe Reader stay in fullscreen mode as other programs / apps do and I think would be the expected behavior? I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Build: 21.11.20039.0.
I had an Adobe Pro subscription that I didnt use. So I decided to cancel it and disintalled the programme. I have now been trying to instal adobe reader and it keeps failing. Yet, ironically, if I try to install again the paid one, that works a charm. Any help?
I can't remove or hide the singin and upgrade button. I have server 2022 datacenter 21H2
Good afternoon! We have a weird issue with Adobe Reader not being able to print to any HP DesignJet Plotter. Foxit PDF Reader prints finer to the plotter with the exact same settings but Adobe Reader refuses to even send the document to the plotter.I thought it would be an update that Adobe has put out.Any advise would be welcome!Let me know if you require any information!Note:- The issues have been happening with Windows 7 and Windows 10 machines but never happens when Foxit is used.
PDFファイルを開くと、しおりと毎回表示されるが、使っていないので毎回閉じるのではなく、常に表示させないようにしたいがどうしたらよいか
Hi. I'm not sure if this is the right forum to ask this question or not. Someone sent me a contract (pdf) via email, and it looks like they signed it electronically, and he has asked me to sign it and return it to him. Two questions: --How can I know that his signature is actually a legit electonic signature and not just his name written with a script-like font. --How can I add my signature electronically to the contract? I have done this before, but it was always done online where both signers could add their signatures.
Following the recent update to Adobe Acrobat Reader version 25.001.20744, we’ve encountered consistent issues when printing PDFs on Windows 10 21H2 LTSC.Specifically:Scanned documents and PDFs appear cut off when printedEmbedded images are missing or not rendered, despite being visible in the fileThe issue occurs across multiple printers and drivers, including virtual drivers like Hyland Virtual Print DriverPrinting the same files from Edge or Chrome works perfectlyReverting to a previous version of Acrobat Reader resolves the issue, but reinstalling v25.001.20744 causes it to returnThis behavior strongly suggests a bug introduced in the latest release. We haven’t seen other reports yet, so we wanted to raise this here in case others are experiencing similar problems or Adobe is already investigating. Please advise if there’s a known workaround or if this issue is being tracked. This was a PDF that was printed from adobe. Clearing the ID is missing informaion when printed from adobe. Th
I use Reader at home mostly to read magazines & books. I like these to always open in two-page view with a cover page. You would think that most books & magazines would automatically set this in the creation, but no. I set my default view to two-up view and zoom to fit page. This works for maybe half. When it does work, they show with a cover page. So I set the override to two-up and fit page, but know NOTHING shows with a cover page. How can I set it to force a cover page?
Hi,I have the C# code below to open a PDF file and launch the Print window when the Adobe reader opens the file. This code is running fine in older version of Adobe (Adobe Reader 11.0.2) but it is not working fine in Adobe Reader DC. Can you please help? public void Printing(string _filename, string Printername) { using (Process process = new Process()) { int count = Convert.ToInt32(System.Configuration.ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["WaitTime"]); process.StartInfo.Verb = "print"; var adobeRegistry = Regist
I'm having trouble filling out the company name change form "540 Certificate" to update your company name, it keeps giving me an error message. Someone told me to save the PDF File first then open Adobe to attach the saved file, I'm so confused on why the Secretary of State website didn't just have this updated on their website.
Hello,I have been trying to timestamp a document using a tsa but can't due to this error SigValue is 729 bytes than exepected. Here are some details about the TSA Responder Certificate:It's using a key length of 3072 RSAThe private keys are generated in a hardware security module Has someone experieced this issue before? The issue at hand is the way Adobe parses the responses because on the server side, i can see that a timestamping token was generated.
Already have continious scrolling enabled in preferences and page display. Adobe scrolls about 1/3 speed of literally every other application based on the global scroll setting.
Since Adobe Reader has updated to 2025.001.20744 prints are now only printing like the attached example which is chopping off most of the page. PDFs print ok if loaded in Microsoft Edge. Setup a clean machine, installed Adobe reader 2025.001.20693 and printed and was ok. Did Help...check for updates which updated and then the issue occurs.Printing to PDF and then loading the failed output back into Adobe reader seems to result in blue sections on the page when you click.
Just within the past two days I now have to use an upgraded version of PDF that is forcing me to create a new signature. When I take and use a new photo of my signature, it looks terrible on the document, including a shaded area behind my name. In the previous version of PDF all I had to do was click on the drop down and select my signature which had a transparent background and looked great on the document. What happened????
I didn't know I had acrobat installed, it came with an update or something. I don't want it at all but it changed all my normal pdf files to acrobat files which has me confused. How do I change the files back to just displaying PDF instead of an Adobe Acrobat Document? Is there a difference? Can it be fixed by removing Adobe?
We use Adobe Reader on our terminal servers and it had been working perfectly fine up until recently. For the last couple of months Adobe Reader has decided to automatically upgrade itself to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC every once in a while, asking all currently logged in users to sign into Adobe Reader with their Adobe ID, which they don't have because our company doesn't have any Acrobat Pro licenses. This will sometimes happen once in two weeks, or twice in two days! It seems sporadic and happens on all of the server in the farm.As soon as I receive a report that Adobe is asking a user to sign in, I check the Application log in Event Viewer on that server for event 11707 and lo and behold, there's an event in there from a few minutes ago saying something like: "Product: Adobe Acrobat DC (64-bit) -- Installation operation completed successfully." To fix this, I've had to uninstall Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and install Adobe Reader from https://get.adobe.com/reader while the
I have never had this happen, but whenever I attempt to print a pdf, it opens a "save as" box instead. So I've saved the pdf to my desktop, but after it's opened again I select print and the same "save as" box pops up again. The ONLY way I've been able to print is by right-clicking the pdf file from my desktop. Only then does it actually print.I'm using Adobe X Reader (version 10.1.7). Why doesn't it allow me to print a pdf when the app is open?
