Acrobat Reader

I've created a document in InDesign CS5, and when viewed on Adobe Reader 10.2 (on an iPad) all the table of contents links within the document, and all links to external websites have a blue highlight field around them. While I appreciate the fact that it makes it obvious where links are, it looks remarkably ugly to have huge blue highlights all over the document. There must be a way to turn these highlights off, right? Either from the source document within InDesign before the PDF is created, or from within Adobe Reader or Acrobat after the PDF is made? I have all the links within InDesign set to "Invisible Rectangle", and it looks great when viewed on older versions of Adobe Reader or in iBooks. Unfortunately, older versions of Adobe Reader don't support hyperlinks on tablets. So somebody using Reader 10.2, however, is now forced to view this document with ugly blue highlights. Is the only option to avoid the highlights to recommend everyone use iBooks to view the document, or is the

i have i scanned file in icelandic and when i try to convert it either in pdf editor or word it does not allow icelandic langue.  In drop down menu for available languages is not icelandic as in word. Is possible to add icelandic langue package similar as in microsoft word.

Hi, I have  a problem with proper displaying the content of the pdf file in Adobe Reader. When I open the file, the contecnt is diplyed properly, but if I click on it it becomes unreadable, as it is on th eaatched picture. Then when click "Zoom" it becomes readable again, however if I click on the contect it's unreadable again. Adobe Reader version: 2022.001.20085. My system: Windows 10My hardware: Lenovo T495

I have on my computer screen the icon for Acrobat Reader DC. I can not find a way to update it? What Adobe program do I have? Help correct my problem? Help??

Hi, I have a problem with Adobe Reader on my remote desktop. My laptop is 64 bit, remote desktop is 32 bit. On my laptop, I can change the settings for JavaScript, but not on the remote desktop. Without the option to change these settings, I can't sign tax declaration via electronic signature on my remote desktop.AR version for 64 bit system: 2022.001.20142,AR version for 32 bit system: 2022.001.20142.For some time I have had a message about Java Script - I could click “Enable JavaScript for this document one time only” and then I was able to sign document. Right now that option is inactive. Only the second option is active "Enable JavaScript for this document always” but it seems not to work (after click on it there is no action).

Tried numerous times to download Reader on my MAC in both Safari and Chrome. System requirements (MAC and browser) are compatible but when I go to the download page I get a 404 error. Can't even start the download. What am I missing?

I am currently using Adobe Acrobat DC version 2022.001.20169 | 64 Bit. I created a PDF and sent it to a client to have them sign it. When the client sent the file back signed I was able to open it and read the document without issues. A few hours later i went to open the document and am seeing that the document is now unreadable. Adobe Acrobat DC version: 2022.001.20169 | 64 BitWindows Version: Windows 10 10.0.19044Things i have tried to fix this issue. 1. I've uninstalled Adobe Acrobat DC and reinstalled (this fixed the issue temporarily). 2. I went into preferences for the document and set the rendering > use local fonts to disabled, and restarted the application, launched the document, but this didn't help. I reverted the change and then restarted the application, the text was still unreadable. 3. I've tried opening the document on another machine, this worked fine, I then tried on a shared desktop environment, the document opened without issues.&nbs

How do I get rid of the annoyng pop up asking me to Activate PDF suite

Windows 10 with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.  Create PDF, select file.  The only file types shown are Adobe formats, Autodesk, BMP, GIF, HTML, jpeg, multimedia, pcx, png, postscript, text, tiff.  See attached imageNo .docx, .xlsx, I am not able to create a PDF from a word doc. 

As of 04/15/2015, Google has deprecated the NPAPI which the Adobe Reader plugin apparently uses (see NPAPI deprecation: developer guide - The Chromium Projects)   This means the Adobe Reader plugin for Chrome no longer works.Does Adobe have any plans to provide a new plugin or extension for Chrome?If not, what is an alternative that can handle .xdp forms?  I've tried PDF Viewer (PDF.js), Notable PDF, and Xodo but none of them handle .xdp files.

I've just bought a new MacBook Pro, updated the OS, it's running macOS Monterey 12.5, when I try to launch or open a PDF file nothing happens, I've signed into Acrobat, shut down and restarted, still nothing.  Please help.

I don't understand why Acrobat Reader so frequently asks me to log in and provide my Adobe password. Worse, it doesn't use Apple Keychain, so I have to remember or keep handy my secure password.Is there something I can do differently? 

On Windows 11, Acrobat reader DC x64, causes the crash of C:\\windows\\system32\\combase.dll. This issue applies to multiple programs. I'd like to understand what causes it. 

The "Commenting experience improvements" in May 2019 release of Acrobat DC introduced the following change: when the user "selects" some text with the left mouse button a black floating toolbar for commenting actions always appears even if the user doesn't want to make comments. How can I prevent that floating toolbar from appearing it's quite distracting?

For the last 2 weeks, Acrobat Reader DC has been opening on its own at 1:45 pm. If Reader DC is open but minimized, it maximizes and goes in front of whatever I'm working in at the time. Open at startup is off, and there is no other schedule set where it may occur. It is both annoying and, at times, causes problems if I happen to be in a video call at the time. I've uninstalled, restarted, and reinstalled and restarted, and the problem continues. Very weird and hoping for solutions.

Suddenly, anytime I attempt to open a PDF, Adobe asks me to sign in.  It says I've signed in before using Google, so when I select "sign in with Google", it still asks me to provide login information.I am running Windows 10.  

Hi everybody,   I hope someone can explain the function "Permitted actions after certifying".       This function is shown then a few guys in my company try to certificate a pdf with a digital signature, but I personally can't simulate this situation. If I try the same, I never see this Option, I only can click "Sign".   In which situation will this be shown? Is it possible to deactivate this function? I'm sorry for asking, but I searched so long in internet, I can't find good informations about this "phenomenon". Thanks a lot.

Mam problem z drukowaniem etykiet w formacie A6. Do tej pory wydrukowałem z Windows XP i było idealnie. Zmieniłem komputer, mam Windows 10 i etykieta drukuje się z marginesem 3,5 cm u góry. Próbowałem każdej opcji i nic nie pomaga.

Adobe DC Pro is not searchable with large PDF files (about 700mb). Can anyone help to solve this preblem please?

My adobe reader suddenly changed about 6 months ago to an online version.  I don't think I updated anything or clicked anything, but I was used to the old version.  The new version is slower, less user friendly, and keeps trying to make me pay.  Did I accidently download a different software?  Did the software change to online for everyone, or did I click on something?  Can I remove the cloud connection somehow and just have it on my computer locally like it used to be? Thank you in advance for clarification.

How do we open documents to default reader view in Acrobat Reader ?

After the automatic update on 7/14, I couldn't print .pdf's.  I tried rebooting the printer and computer (Win10 PC) )(Canon MB2720)and nothing.  I tried reader repair, no help.  Uninstalled and then installed current version.  It looks like it tries to open, but doesn't.  Now totally inoperable.
