Acrobat Reader

I have used Acrobat Reader DC on many PC's and have suddenly hit a re-occurring fault on this latest Lenovo Laptop with latest version of W10 and Acrobat Reader DC - please note that this does not seem to ever happen with Acrobat X Reader, Foxit Reader or other types of Reader tried - including  Microsoft Edge.  I have attached JPG's below. One way of getting from non-distorted to distorted is yo point and click in the text area - another way to undistort is to scroll the text/page off screen and back.Any advice please? - note DC only seems to go like this on this PC - have 3 others here and all OK. Thanks 

I have link in one document, when i clic on it, it jump to correct page, but resize page, change zoom. For example, i am on page 50, have link to page 69. It work but zoom change from 75% to 396% ! It is terrible.I tryed change everything but still the same. How i should disable this?

I have Acrobat Reader and I'm typing on a fillable PDF form and I would like to change the font/text size. I've read some questions and answers on the Adobe forum and it seems that the text functions on what's called "Auto-Fit" in which the text size changes to the size that needed to fit the box that you're typing in and the text consequently becomes smaller as  more text is added so that it fits the box. However, sometimes the text ends up much too small for the size of the box and is therefore difficult to read so I'd like to enlarge it.  I would also like to be able to reduce the size of the text in other boxes when it comes out very large because I only typed a sentence or two. After reading the forums, I'm wondering if I need to purchase Acrobat DC in order to do this. Thank you.

Sometimes I receive documents that have been scanned to me upside down or sideways. I am able to rotate the view to "right side up"  but if I save the document into my hard drive it does not save the change and goes back to being upside down.  I have Adobe Acrobat DC which I thought was the highest level of document manipulation. What do I have to do or get to make this issue go away?

Hi, we are planning on update from DC2017 to DC 2020 on server 2016, when we update to patch 2020.004.30017 (newest version), the right click print function will get and error message "Adobe Acrobat Reader 2020 has stopped working" and will need to close the program.But the same install on Windows 10 works perfectly fine. Any ideas? Thanks

I recently reinstalled Windows on my PC and I don't know if I saved my certificates the right way.I took the .pfx files from the appdata location of Adobe and imported each one with:Edit > Preferences > Signatures > Identities & Trusted Certificates > More > Add IDThe import worked, the certificate appears in the list, but when I open a file signed with that certificate some functionalities are disabled (clearing a signature for example).Right-click on the signature opens a menu without the "Clear signature" button and right-click on a empty space inside the signatures panel shows the "Clear all signatures" button, but it is grayed out.

Hi,  My web application allow users to open and edit documents using their local installation of Microsoft Office apps. I would like to allow users to open and edit PDF documents using the local installation of Acrobar Reader. When I invoke the URI below, it launches MS Excel and opens the file in read mode."ms-excel:ofv|u|https://contoso/Q4/budget.xls" I would like to do the same for PDF documents using Acrobat Reader. Like this for instance"adobe-acrobat.reader:ofv|u|https://contoso/Q4/budget.pdf" Is there any URI Schemes that can be used to open a pdf file located in a (WebDav) server ?

everytime I try and open a document. the following message id displayed. The operation could not be completed as Acrobat Reader doesn't have permission to access: ~/Paragon Financial Partners LLP/SPS - Doc's/SURINDER GOSAL/Paragon/Company Forms/Marketing martial/.Launch privacy settings to grant access? I am using a mac. Regards

I'm trying to combine 5 Word files to a PDF file, but when it begins combining the files, a "Save as" dialog box pops up to save as a PDF file. But when I save the file, only one Word file is saved as a PDF without all the other files that I want combined into a file. Why doesn't Adobe Reader wait until all files are combined before asking me to save the file as a PDF?1. I Chose the files as seen in the first illustration: 2. In Adobe Reader, I selected all the files, then clicked on "Combine": 3. Then a "Save PDF File As" dialog box pops up while the first Word file is in the process of being combined, So I saved it as the desired file as shown in the illustration: But after I "Saved PDF file as" with the desired filename, it's been taking forever and seems to be stuck in "converting" the first file. How long does this process take? Until I find out the answer to this, I'll just have to convert each one to a PDF file separately and then combine all of the PDF files

I need help with Abode Acrobat Reader!I downloaded the latest version of Adobe reader and I installed the chrome extension on my Google Chrome.For Mac users, when I open a document, file with adobe acrobat reader on my desktop, a pop up shows up in the middle of my screen (work with pdfs while browsing the web) and I can’t remove it by clicking X or continue. It’s really frustrating because I can’t not read what’s in my file. Do you have a solution on how to remove the pop up so I can read ?

I had the free PDF reader downloaded on my business computer. I needed to download the Pro version to edit a document for work. When I downloaded it from the Adobe website, it upgraded the version of the Reader that I had. But everyone in my office shares the same login for the Pro version and we sign out whoever doesn't need to edit anything when someone else does. The problem now is that upgrading the Reader version has left me with only the Pro version, which needs to be logged in for any functions, even if I'm not editing. So, I am unable to even view PDFs if two other people are signed in to the Pro version. I need to have both version installed for when I only need to view PDFs, but the installer for the Reader will not install again because it says I have an old version (that was upgraded) already installed. How can I reinstall just the basic Reader without needing a login and keep the Pro version to sign in and make edits only as-needed?

Tengo instalado Acrobat Reader DC versión 2021.007.20099 (64bits) en un servidor terminal server 2016 y no me es posible insertar una firma digital, el programa se queda colgado cuando después de seleccionar el lugar el la firma, pulsas el botón de firmar.Lógicamente, he desinstalado la aplicación y la he vuelto a instalar, pero no salgo de ahí.No lo entiendo porque hasta hace poco ha estado funcionando pero ahora no hay manera. He estado mirando y desactivando el modo protegido al iniciar y la utilización de interfaz moderna para la configuración de firma e ID digital, pero no importa nada, siempre se queda colgado después de pulsar sobre el botón firmar.¿Pueden ayudarme?

Hello,I am Adobe Creative Cloud subscription owner, cannot get access to "Edit PDF" feature via "Acrobat Reader - Edit PDF" application on Android 11 mobile device. Same issue in Adobe Web portal, I get link to buy Adobe Acrobat subscription. Normally Creative Cloud subscription owners should have access to "Edit PDF" feature. Please advise. 

When i recieve a document that i need to electronically sign i always get a black screen that opens up instead of the signature box. The black shadow screen covers the document and i have to go to Task manager to close Adobe Pro. I am runnung Version 2021.007.20099.On another laptop when i sign in i get the same error. what could be going on?  

We have many users, all on the current version of Reader DC, that have an issue when trying to use the "Find" command.  Reader will freeze for a while and show not responding.  After a bit, it will come back and be responsive again.  I've tried disabling the options under "Security (enhanced)...namely, "Enable Protected Mode and Enable Enhanced Security.  Disabling these options has not helped.

Like the title says, acrobat won't launch.  It opens for a spit second and then instantly closes with no crash report or anything.  This happens whenever I try to launch the app or open a .PDF on my two different Mac computers (15' Macbook Pro 2017, Imac Pro 2018).  I have deleted preferences from the library files based on my reserach but didn't change anything.  Need help!!!

When I try to instal Acrobat Reader DC on Mac OSX 10.12.3 I get a message during the installation process (after typing in admin password to instal). Message reads "found a higher version of Acrobat Reader in the installation location. Installation cancelled" (or something similar.Then get this popup: I've delewed the previous version and searched hard drive for any other version. Can't find anything.

Hi,For a while now we have had users with the problems that [save as] and [send via mail] opened up with only empty windows. This is a known issue and workarounds for [save as] have been found, but now i have a user that can't use the rotate pdf buttons. These leave the same blank window as [save as] and [send via mail].My question has two parts: Is there a fix/workaround for the [send via mail] and is the rotate pdf issue known/ fixed? The last thread i found about this has run dry, and i would like a definite fix.Thanks a lot!

Hello. I need some information. I have an editable pdf document that allows me, by clicking on a button, to generate an xml document and attach it directly to the default mail program. I wanted to know if it is possible to modify the pdf file so that the document can generate the xml file without automatically attaching it to the e-mail program. Then just create the xml file.
