Acrobat Reader

1) macOS: Adobe Reader DC 21.007.20099 does not handle correctly retina resolution when displaying a PDF containing  a 3D annotation when OpenGL 1.4 is used. When the software rendering  is used, there is no problem but we loose hardware acceleration and advanced effects. When the hardware acceleration is used, the viewport is divided by two.With Adobe Reader 20.013.20064 everything works correctly. The only way to prevent this issue and keep OpenGL 1.4 is to run Adobe Reader with the low resolution option enabled on the application, but the interface is blurred and not pleasant to use. This issue is detected on : Macbook pro 2019 16 Intel/ OSX 10.15.7Macbook pro 2018 Intel / OSX 11.6.1Macbook pro 2019 Intel/ OSX 12.0.1Mac mini m1 Apple Silicon/OSX 11.6.1 Strangely with a macbook pro 2018 and 10.14.6, there is no issue. 2) WindowsThe 64 bit version of Adobe Reader does not provide hardware acceleration. When I right click on an Adobe Acrobat Reader DC PDF my screen goes blank for a few seconds. All eventually reappears, but unable to perform right click funtions like renaming a PDF.

I just downloaded the latest version of Acrobat Pro (for the Mac) and the all-important Add Note to Replace Text function seems to be gone. Has it been removed? Or has it been replaced by something else? I cannot find it!Just so we're clear, this is what I mean:And this is the result I want:

I am in the midst of negotations with my insurance co on the contents inventory from a house fire and need to have the data in an excel spreadsheet so I can sort, search and prioritize.The contents listing (5200 items) was provided to them in an excel spreadsheet which they then added columns to for actual cash value and depreciation.  Unfortunately, they then converted this augmented excel using PDFCreator 2.5.2.5233 and I have been unable to export this pdf to excel format using the export function in acrobat pro dc.  The insurance company can't/won't give me the spreadsheet that they fed to PDFCreator.  I really need to have the actual cash value and depreciation and editing my original excel file to add the data is impractical for 5200 items. Any thoughts on how I can get this to convert?thanks Jim M  

I can not get the hyperlinks to work when I have my Word Document as a PDF on my MacBook Pro. When I email the Word Document and open it on my PC and save as PDF the hyperlinks work. I am using the same Free verision of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on both devices. Why will it work on my PC but not work on my MacBook Pro?

Hi there,I have created a dynamic PDf in Adobe Acrobat DC,there is also a button in this form,which I can use to savethe file directly.Everything works fine, even in Adobe Readerunder Windows.But unfortunately not under Android on my smartphone,there is only the option to save a copy.Now my question: is there away to create the save button (save file as) under Adobe Acrobat DCfor Android?Or at least create a save copy button that works for Android?Thanks.Greetings Andreas

From some time already, probably 1 month, I have a problem with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. Is closing in about 20 seconds after I open a pdf file. I am using a Mac with MacOS Big Sur 11.3.1.

I'm attempting to permanently hide the tools pane.  I have tried hiding it, and then checking Preferences > Documents > Remember Current State of Tools Pane, but this option is not staying checked when I close preferences.  Has anyone encountered this issue before?

I have recently opted for 7 day trial of Acrobat Pro but cancelled it within couple of days as I do not need any additional features that not available in free reader. But after cancelling the trial I'm having trouble accessing all the features in Free Acrobat Reader such as I use to get 2 documents to send for signature per 30 day rolling month which somehow no longer accessible in free version of Acrobat Reader. Can someone please help how can I access all the Free reader features back? Feels like opting for a trial was a bad idea 😞

Hi, i have the same version about Adobe Reader DC in some clients and in some pc i see correctly some specifics pdf and in other two a i see them wrong. I attach here 3 screenshots, two about version and example where i see it wrong(1.jpg and 2.jpg) and another one with a red 'C' with the version where it works fine(adobefunzionante.jpg). In the client where i see this pdf wrong, if i opne its with Microsoft Edge they can see correctly.Thank you very muchBest Regards

This question may concern PDFs only indirectly, but I'm hoping someone may be able to answer it: I have a website whose pages load PDFs with embedded videos that no longer work since they're all Quicktime which is said to contain a security hole so websites refuse to load them. So I'm trying to re-write it with MP4s instead of MOVs, and using links to them instead of embedding them for reasons I'll explain later if anyone cares. At present I'm still working and testing as local host. But every time I load a PDF with links to video clips in it (not MOVs but MP4s), they don't play. In fact they seem not to even know they have links since the little pointing finger that should appear when you hover over the icons where the links are does not appear. However, if I load the identical same PDFs directly from my hard drive all the pointing finger icons do appear and they all work. And I've verified that the PDFs are identical by adding an extra recognizable word ins

Is there a change in the latest version of Adobe Reader with the build-in datepicker? In the way it returns the value? In our case we have an XFA form and when the user pick a date in an older version of reader and Acobat it works as expected (this was working up to a couple of months ago). Suddenly this is no longer working for customers using the latest reader. Attached a form with 1 date field. Once exit the field the "util.scand" is used to convert the value to a date. If you use an older reader the result is a proper date. The newer version of  Readers will return "null" ie the date is invalid.

I am trying to create a form that can be filled out in One drive by myself and another person.  The form can be filled with information known of on the event, and then as more information comes in as it gets closer to the event, we can go into that event form and update it. I created this in Word, put it in Adobe with fillable fields but when I upload it to One Drive, I can't access the form to type in it.

*Note* I accidentally posted this topic under the wrong account, please reply to this one.* After updating to Adobe Reader 21.007.20091 (unfortunately I don't know the previous version) gotomypc can no longer print PDFs from Adobe but they still print fine from Edge. What could be the cause of this? I opened a ticket with Gotomypc but they said it is an Adobe issue. One funny thing I noticed is only when gotomypc is selected the size says 8.5x11 but under there is says 8.67x11.14. it worked fine before the update, I don't know if it always said that for the size or not.

Hello- I've signed an Enterprise agreement to be able to download the full Acrobat Reader DC install kit.  So far I still only see the 32 bit installer.  When will the 64 bit version be available? Thanks!
