Acrobat Reader

I suspect I have a pdf file that has a weird problem but I am not skilled enough to figure it out. I can copy the file using utilities such as iText7 and pdfSharp but I get odd results when I try some other functions.  The functions I use work with other pdf files, just not this one. Iin one case when I try to scale the file to 50% size, I get a blank page.  And when I try to use some graphic functions (such as var gfx = XGraphics.FromPdfPage(page); ), I get messages such as "Width and Height must be non-negative" although the properties of the page are standard 8.5" x 11". Here is the link to file I am having problems with:http://www.firish.com/temp/HandRecord1.pdf(also attached if that is more convenient)Thanks for any help or advice.

Some of my documents will not print correctly in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 2021.005.20058. Some of the text in the documents is illegible when it prints. It looks like black boxes. It is not the fillable text...only the standard form text. I can see it fine on screen though. I have tried printing it on 2 different printers that are both fully updated, 1 HP and 1 Brother. Also, I can choose to open the documents in Google Chrome and it will print fine. It is only when trying to print from Adobe Reader. It has to be a setting somewhere in Adobe, but I can't figure it out. I have scoured the internet and Adobe community and cannot find anything to help. I am using an Apple Macbook Pro with MacOS Big Sur, Version 11.5.2 (if that helps). I have attached an image of what it looks like when it prints.

Hello! I use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (2021.005.20060) for Windows 10 x64 to read technical documentation. After some time, I discovered that the AcroRd32.exe process occurs the leakage of descriptors, now more than 230,000 and continues to increase. This happens each time the program is launched.How can I fix this problem?

I have PDF files that contain letter-size pages, legal-size pages, and other non-standard-size pages (e.g., A4). My new Brother L6200DW printer chokes on the non-standard size pages, no matter what Adobe options I select. Brother support tells me it's an Adobe issue. Support won't talk to me because I'm using the free Reader product. Any tips?

Updated an older plugin to 64bit for latest MacOS but it won't load.The 64bit version was necessary to support the gatekeeper requirements during installation of the plugin but got side-tracked since the new plugin itself fails to load now. The previous 32bit version loads ok on the same OS and Reader DC version. Any pointers to resources on proper 64bit plugin build requirements for the Mac version of Reader on Catalina+ OS versions? PS: Yes, the plugin is signed for Reader

Hello community / support, if I open 3D-pdfs like the attached one using Acrobat reader Acrobat Reader version 20.004.30006 it doesn't work 100% (only rotate/zoom, but not the menue on the right).Before (using Acrobat Reader version 20.004.30005) it worked 100%.In both cases, the option "enable playing of 3D content" is set to active under preferences menue. If I open the same attached 3D pdf mentioned above using Adobe Acrobat X Pro v10.1.16 it works 100%. Why doesn't the 3D pdf work 100% when using Acrobat Reader v20.004.30006? My laptop is HP Zbook 15 G4, OS is Win 10 1809. best regards

Hi, I filled out (partially) a fillable pdf form. I signed the signature part of the document and this rendered the document unfillable from that point on which was not my intent. There was no warning that this would happen. I spent alot of time filling out this document and I desperately don't want to have to fill out a brand new one.  Can I "undo" my signature so I can get the fillable fields back or is there something else I can do to get those form fillable fields back?  The fillable parts of the document had a highlighted blue section. Now the document is just black and white and I can't add any text anywhere. Please help!! this has never happened to me in a pdf field before.I have attached the form. Now, i see that after filling in the signature the form goes all to black and white. How to undo this?

So I've been using older and newer version of adobe reader, last time I was using adobe reader XI and it had the option available to place signature using certificate (DSC) but I was facing some error and chose to update it to the latest adobe reader DC version and when I clicked on the sign icon there's only option to place initial and draw signature, DSC feature is nowhere to be seen, I'm in the urgent need of it, can anyone tell me how to enable DSC in latest adobe reader or at least provide a suitable older version which supports DSC.(window 10 64bit)I'd be grateful if anyone could help me, it's urgentThanks

Hi, I use firefox generally, but recently switched to adobe acrobat on my PC. I highlight PDFs and sometimes I have to close adobe reader to focus on another stuff, but while closing it asks me to "save" the file. Is there any way by which I can hibernate adobe reader and open the same file with same highlights even after restart? I dont want to save the file everytime I close Acrobat because I do it multiple times. I only want my highlighted content to appear the same way as I did before closing adobe.Sorry for my poor English,Thanks! 

Hello, I haven't found yet how you can schwitch off this option when you type something and the programm automatically gives you prompts based on words or phrases that you typed before. Have you got any idea how can I manage to remove those prompts?

It hangs only with digitally signed pdf, sometimes nothing opens but the app is freezed (you have to kill it from task manager) ,some others signed files seem to open but hangs ("not responding"). All windows 10 clients( 12) and RDS 2019 (each with 2021.005.20060 ver) have the same problem. Tested new 64x ver (also 2021.005.20060) , same result.Nothing is logged in Event Viewer (Application, Installation or System).Other test : Uninstalling / Installing ver 2019.008.20071 with AdobeUpdate service disabled, but same result (hang or freeze).Disabling protected mode at startup does permit to open some of signed pdf, but in a very slow way.All these problems started at the end of July.Chrome and Edge are able to open these signed pdf files without problems.

I changed computer and when I downloaded Acrobat Reader again, I couldn't log in anymore. A message appears saying I should update Internet Explorer and the adobe reader, I did it and still doesn't work. I have tried to install and update a million times. Eu troquei de pc e quando baixei o acrobat reader não consegui mais fazer o log in. I just updated my laptop to the newest Mac, previous computer was also a Mac computer. I've noticed that the search option is no longer giving me the specific word I'm looking for. For example if I enter "the nurse" it gives me results for every word with the letters, t, h, e, and so on! I've revised the settings and can't figure out how to fix this. I didn't even see the help option on the computer so I'm using my phone instead. By the way the search option works on mh phone, but I need it to work on the computer. Please help.Thank you A

Here is my issue i have a list of pdfs listed on a website for an example www.example.com/List/however at one point it was able to pick up items on that list but now the .pdf extension is throwing an error of page does not exist.

Hi,I have stored a digital certificate for digital signing of pdf files on a USB token (Yubikey 5). Usually the key is configured so that it always requires entering the PIN when a document is signed (verified e.g. with the Foxit PDF Reader). However, Adobe Reader DC requests the PIN only for the first document and not if additional documents are signed without restarting the Reader.Is there any configuration option in the Adobe Reader to configure this behaviour and to enforce an ALWAYS_ENTER_PIN policy?We contacted also the support of the USB token manufacturer and they also think that it is a special behaviour of the Adobe Reader.ThanksThorsten
