Why do I have to sign in to my account in order to read a PDF document with Acrobat Reader?
Hi,I'm regularly working with up to 15 pdf documents at the same time that are all at least 100 pages long. The problem is that Adobe Acrobat Reader (being 32-bit) is limited to ~4GB of RAM, so I almost always get the error prompt that I've run out of memory sooner or later. It also limits the speed with which I can work with the documents. Are there any plans to release a 64-bit version of the reader for Windows machines in the (near) future that would solve these problems?Thank you in advance for your answers!
We have to print protected pdf's from multiple vendors that require the IRM client for PDF. Worked fine on version 20063but 20071 and now 20074 pop up a message stating "IRM client for PDF cannot run with this version of Acrobat"2 questions, 1, can this be fixed? and 2, have uninstalled 20071 and reinstalled 20063 and disabled the Adobe Update services in Windows via services.msc but Adobe still updates. How can I keep from updating until fixed?thanks

I've also noticed the ADOBE tool bar is missing in those browsers as well. Anyone have an explaination for this?
Hello,I'm havin a problem with singatures in adobe reader. The company I work for use a service called "connective" to put digital signatures on pdf's using itsme/eid.After people signed the pdf I can then download them to check if the signature is valid. However sometimes it happens that I can not see the signature in adobe reader, but when I open it first in google chrome I do see that it's been signed (but there I can not check if it's valid). This problem only happens to some pdf's and I checked View > Show/Hide > Navigation Panes and "Signatures" is not there for those files. Can you help me with this problem of the disappearing signatures?
I am trying to digitally sign a pdf in Acrobat Reader on a mac. I have set up a digital ID file. When I select my digital ID and enter my password, it then prompts me to save the pdf. After naming it and selecting a location to save, I get the following 2 messages: "The document could not be saved. A file error has occurred." "The document could not be signed." Any suggestions?

Using a WebBrowser control in a WinForms application, trying to view a PDF file in the control now causes the control to start Acrobat incorrectly as Acrobat says it cannot find the file. At that point the WebBrowser control is hung and in exiting the program a failure occurs trying to unload AcroPDFImpl64.dll, as indicated in the Event Viewer. Also, regardless of whether the default PDF app is Acrobat Reader or Acrobat Pro, it always tries to start Acrobat Pro. Going into IE and disabling the Add-in fixes that failure. When the default app is Acrobat Pro, it will start it fine. When the default app is Acrobat Reader... if the Reader window is open it works OK, but if the Reader is not open then it will start the Reader but not show it. And then the Reader is no longer working and all instances must be killed via Task Manager. The PDF Browser Control file AcroPDFImpl64.dll is the latest version 21.1.20138..29261 dated 2/14/2021.
I recently got a new brother printer and installed it. I opened one of my pdfs and saw this new option to save on toner. When it is selected, one several of my pdf files, they print okay. On this one particular file, it will erase an entire line of context. Any ideas? I've tried printing as an imagine with the option enabled, same issue. If I turn it off on the pdf that is giving me issues (with and without print as image) , the whole file prints as it normally would. I'm at a loss here. Any ideas to try, greatly appreciated.
Hello,I have a user currently running SAP GUI 7.5 and when they use the command "PDF!" Adobe will crash the entire GUI session. The user reports it is happening just about every other time they run the command. I have updated Adobe DC to the newest version (2021.001.20138) and even tried completely reinstalling both SAP GUI and Adobe, but the issue still persists. We had a similar issue with user who were using the regular Adobe Reader, but we discovered the issue was because Protected mode had been re-enabled. Turning this off still did not fix it for the user. This is the only user we have reporting the issue, and we have several users with Adobe Pro. Please advise as I am out of ideas to resolve the issue.
I am not able able to convert Word to PDF and PDFMaker is inactive in Outlook so we cannot save email to PDF since last Thursday. For Excel, it works. Can you help me please? Acrobat Pro 2017 with Offfice 2016 or 2019
Acrobat Reader hasn't been working properly. When I try opening a PDF file, the display resolution decreases and it doesn't show any PDF. Task manager shows that acrobat reader is running on the background and only when I highlight it and press the "End Task" button that the display goes back to normal. Tried uninstalling it but didn't solve, so I tried using the Acrobat DC Cleaner Tool for uninstalling and reinstalling it with it's compatibility set to windows 8, but it didn't do anything, still had the same problems. What could be causing this problem and how can I solve it?
I have users that are still encountering the issue that has been happening with the adobe plug in and ie11 since May. Clicking the print option on the on-screen adobe toolbar of an open PDF in ie11 results in nothing happening. This is affecting users on the 2004 and the 20H2 update. The users are running the newest version of Adobe Reader as well. Disabling the plugin is not an option. Although it is a workaround for printing pdfs from ie11, we have a program that uses embedded adobe printing functions I guess, and users can not print from the program even with the plugin disabled(which makes sense as the plugin would only affect ie11). Disabling protected mode at startup in adobe settings is absolutely not an option. We should not have to disable default security settings in order for basic functions to work properly. I saw some people stating on similar posts that this setting was not enabled by default in prior versions of Windows, however I have multiple machines running
For the last week I have been having this problem. Issues using these versions: 2021.001.20135 and 2021.001.20138 (latest release as of writing this post). When I print my .pdf from Acrobat Reader, it prints the same area of my file slightly wonky (see the area in the bottom red circle of the image attached). After MANY hours (and days) testing my printer with all the align/cleaning functionality (and changing ink etc.), I tried printing my .pdf from Chrome and I had no wonky print whatsoever (see the area in the top red circle of the image attached).Chrome version is 88.0.4324.150.I've also tried using Edge to print the pdf from with no issues, and for the fun of it I tried Foxit with no issues. Not the end of the world having to use Chrome but it's not my ideal situation.Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated.Julia
I'm having the same issue on a Mac with the Acrobat Reader DC. Only the app program. Everything fine via web browser or mobile. Did a full uninstall and reinstall. When "sign in" pressed, it opens the window, but hovering mouse now gives greay circle and slash. Can hit "tab" which permits email address entry. But "Continue" buttin not possible, and hitting Enter/Return does nothing. This was working fine until recently. V 2019.010.20099Mac OSX 10.11.6
Until today, Quickprint from Outlook 2016 to Adobe Reader DC worked fine. Reader opened, printed, and closed. Now, it prints, and Reader DC stays open creating a bit issue for our payables department quick printing many documents very quickly. I tried the registry hack I have seen in forums, and still the reader stays open. Why is this happening? Creating issues.

Hi guys! Can a company use free Adobe Reader DC license only to read PDF documents? or is it necessary to buy the license for each computer in a company? Thanks you!
I expected new version of Adobe Reader to appear on ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/AcrobatDC/ as it used to be. The last published version of Reader DC is 4 moths old. Is anyone know what is the current way of getting new versions in some more automation friendly way, like single static location? Do you know what are the future fate of above FTP?
I am working remotely. I have my connection all set. Was able to print from Adobe before. Now I cannot print any PDF files to my printer at home. HELP!
