Acrobat Reader

when i click on a PDF file Acrobat comes up with "There was an error opening this document. The file cannot be accessed by the system".Has anyone got any idea why this is happening?

Hi, I'm hoping someone may be able to help me..I am trying to download a document to pdf from Canva, when opened through Adobe Acrobat Reader (the latest version) the formatting is all off and the text pushed around. It doesn't happen in Preview, just Adobe and to my colleagues the same? Please see examples of funky text attached. Thank you for any help!

Hi,I am using windows 10 and can able to open a pdf file using adobe reader. But after update with the latest version of OS, I could not open any pdf files. I followed all the instructions in the website like repair, removed through abode cleaner and reinstalled and set as a default app etc. But nothing is working. How to troubleshoot or solve this issue?

Hi, I've set calculations to happen on the page however it seems the box doesn't perform calculations until I type something in another box. Hard to explain but seeht e images for a better understanding. As you see in example 1 & 2, I completed the calculation in example 1 however no subtotal triggered. As soon as I type in any box "Example 2" as you see I typed in a box below and all of a sudden the calculations populate for what was the first line...can anyone help?

So, in my old Laptop, I could save changes to Adobe PDF using the "Save" rather that "Save As" which directly saved changes without making me choose location again and againHowever, after I transferred all my data (including PDF) to my new Laptop, and redownloaded Adobe (Since the Adobe which was transferred wasn't working for some reason. So I reinstalled it), I can't "save" the changes now, without "save as"When I click File > Save it still brings up the "Save As" window and asks me to choose location. When I try to close without saving and it asks to save changes and I say "yes", it still opens the "Save As" windowEven "ctrl + s" is now popping up the "Save As" button rather than "Save"Basically its like my Save button has converted to Save As. PLEASE HELP!!!!I am using Adobe Acrobat DC

I am trying to save PDF attachments from emails and I am getting a whitedout save box and so am unable to save these.I have done everything suggested in all the posts I can find on here and this hasn't helped, can someone tell me what I need to do please?Thanks

Hi there! Faced a problem, when opening pdf files, I get an error with the inability to extract the embedded font. The fonts can be different, for example (ARBAA + ARIAL, Unicode MS). After that, the file does not open. I get the files in Outlook.The latest version of the program. 2020.013.20064. Reinstalling the program did not help. Same problem on another computer. What could be the problem, can you tell me?Thanks!

Bonjour,We have a handful of users in our Windows 10 environment that experience an issue, many times a day, where Internet Explorer will freeze when launching an embedded PDF to view within the IE browser.They get an error with acropdfimpl.dll in the event viewer.It happens since october and an Adobe Reader DC update with 2020.013.20064 version. We can use another browser because that's the only browser that works with company website.It appears to be inconsistent but be can repoduce the issue when opening 10 or 20 PDF.The 2020.013.20064 is related to pb with IE : https://borncity.com/win/2020/11/13/adobe-reader-dc-sicherheitsupdate-nov-2020-verursacht-probleme-unter-sap/Adobe Reader uses 30% of CPU => IE freeze and we have to kill Adobe Reader process in the Task Manager. When we reopen the PDF file that crashed, it is systematicaly correctly displayed in IE. We tried many things :Uninstall Adobe Reader and install an older version like&nbsp

ADOBE ACROBAT READER DC: Recently, it starts updating by itself, and closing my tabs and restarting my laptop without permission. I am right in the middle of annotating documents and it closes the tabs and does not let me save. When turns back on it says that a file is recovered, followed by an error message that it could not open the file. It is SOO Annoying. I have lost an annotation of a doc 3 times in a day. Can someone help me stop the automatic restarts and installation? I DO Not want to Stop the updates, I want the APP to ask for MY PERMISSION. I have even marked this option during installation, but clearly, I am ignored.

HiWhen printing both a local PDF file and with Internet Explorer plugin, Reader does not remember I've changed size to "Fit".I have to do this every time I print a PDF file./Kim

On Acrobat Reader and need the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Font Pack (Continuous) - For Acrobat Reader DC version 19.x extension desperately. Was prompted to download the pack upon opening the file, the link works but the pack refuses to be downloaded even after clicking the download button. Please help.

Hi All I'm fairly new to the whole Adobe software and was wondering if there was a way to use the stamp (and to annotate) on multiple open PDFs at the same time?Our business has gone digital/paperless quite rapidly, and we have tens, sometimes hundreds of PDF invoices that we need to stamp as PAID (using a custom made stamp) and then write the date of the payment by the stamp.At the moment I am opening a single PDF, stamping and dating, then saving and closing it. Repeat 1 billion times, which is quite time consuming!Does anyone know of a quicker way to do this? I've looked it in the community chat but the closest thing I can find is stamping multiple pages within one PDF, which isnt quite what I'm looking for. I'm on PC using Windows 10 if that's applicable Many thanks!!

Hello everyone, I need help. I can see a digital signature in the acrobat reader on the computer (as you can see in the attached file), but in the acrobat reader for mobile, I cannot see the digital signature. Is there any way to see this? Thanks in advance. 

I have this form which I was filling. I have been saving it as I go as it is a lengthy form. All of a sudden it stopped allowing me to keep on filling the form or edit any of the fields I have filled.

[4304271]" It's been 9 months that everyone who runs the latest Windows 10 version has been unable to print PDFs integrated into Internet Explorer. The issue has now carried over into 20H2 unresolved and with no update from Adobe (or MS). This ONLY affects Reader, so it can't even be escalated with a support case. Please provide an update, even if it's "lol we don't care about IE use case scenarios for Enterprise anymore" or "MS has no interest in working with us during a pandemic to fix this". Because I've got plenty of kiosks that require IE and printing the PDF within the browser where this situation is breaking entire operations workflows. The insecure workaround is to uncheck the "Enable Protected Mode at startup" feature under Edit > Preferences > Secur

I use the fill and sign tool often to paste my signature into documents. Today it stopped working and converted my signature into a box with an x.  I think I received a memory full warning as well but can't get that error to come back again.  Has this happened to anyone else? Do you know how to fix it? thanks!

Hi! I have to install Acrobat Reader in order to edit PDF's for a class but I am having a lot of trouble doing so on my 2020 macbook air. Over the weekend I tried installing it but it never got past 40% installation. Now, when I try it says that it is "waiting for other installations to complete" and has said the same thing for a couple hours now. I know that nothing else is installing since I forced the installer to quit multiple times before trying to install again while on the phone with Apple support. Please advise me on how to get this installation to work. 

How can I disable the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC plugin for IE 11 via the registry? We are currently deploying version 2018.011.20035We have a mix of Windows 7 and Windows 10 machines in our environment with both versions running IE 11.It would also be helpful to know if whatever solution is provided works with Adobe Acrobat DC Pro\StandardThank you.

Hi, We have 2 x Windows desktop PC's on our network.I have installed the latest drivers on the network.However, when my husband goes to print a PDF his comes out in Black, whereas mine comes out in colour. We NEED colour.Has anyone got any ideas?I've uninstalled and reinstalled printer files.I'm pulling my hair out as i can't find the answers
