Acrobat Reader

I am running windows 10 on a laptop and have for many years managed to open pdf files in adobe reader without any issues.  I now cannot open and receive "Adobe Acrobat could not open ooc.pdf because it is either not a supported file or because the file has been damaged (for example it was sent via e-mail attached and wasn't correctly decoded". These files all worked up until Sunday and I can open them through edge, but some are on autorun USBs that I have spend a lot of money on and are a bit of a pain to open through the index. I have already uninstalled and resinstalled Adobe Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Greetings,I am using Adobe PDF Fillabl Form for my clients to fill and send me their data and I can also edit here again the filled data/content.In Text Box field if anyone use Fill and Sign tool and insert signature (electronic signature type), the complete form fields and getting disable after saving it, we can't edit the other fields content/data again.We dont want this to be happen when using Fill and Sign signature.If needed we can disable Fill and Sign tool also like diable Print, Copy text and where ever this file open on any machine.Please help in how to stop getting disabling the edit field data option after inserting Fill&Sign signature.Any solution will be great help.Thank you.

I have a MAC OS Catlina installed. Latest Adobe Reader DC installed with an account that allows editing pdf docs. However, when I attempt to edit an existing pdf doc, Adobe sends me to the Adobe DC page and asked if I want an annual subscription.

I am using a stand alone Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and have alwasy been able to access all of the tools. Suddenly I'm being asked to pay for subscription services. I am using version 20.013.20074I don't know if this was caused by an update. Any solution to this?

Takes a ridiculous amount of time to open regardless of PDF size. Took 47 seconds to open an 8kb file. No other programs running. When I disconnect from the internet the same file opens in 2 seconds.

Hello, I am trying to print a PDF file with a Brother printer, but the PDF files which original size is about 100 or 400KB have become big files in my spooler (size around 16MB or 28MB) ). Printing therefore takes a long time. Do you have any idea to solve it? thank you so much

Hi, I'm having this annoying problem with some PDF files. The name of file is one, but when I oppen on Adobe Reader, the title of this is just "PowerPoint Presentation". I usualy open many files at the same time, so the fact that titles are all the same makes my organization be difficulted, as well my work. I know how to change when I have the orinal Power Point file, but in this case I don't have it. So, please! Anyone knows how to rename this title withot the original Power Point file?

Hi, I realise that this is a community inwhich users can assist each other but with no other way of contacting Adobe directly I'm logging this post because we have missplaced/lost our administrative credentials and the Managing Director of the company is currently taking family leave and is not accessible. I need administrative access to our account in order to update our plan and ensure that all details are correct (payment, contact, users etc) I am able to provide any company information necessary - I do not wish to post any details here.  I need someone from Adobe to contact me ASAP to rectify this issue as it's effecting our business. Good day to you.Is there anyway I can disable the auto-fill portion when in Fill & Sign under annotations like adding text? The reason is the users need to key in their userid and sometimes they accidentially choose the wrong id when doing the signing. Please take a look below. Tried to disable the forms auto-complete, but I think this is not the correct option. The only option is to "cross" out the particular text. Is there anyway to disable this entirely instead?We are using Adobe Reader DC 2020.013.20074 Thank you.

What do I need to do to open older files that Reader is unable to open?I am using the current version of the software.I get this error:  What has caused this to happen?  Did it happen as the result of a Reader software upgrade?

The highlights in the form fields are driving my end users crazy. They have Acrobat Reader. I've jumped on one of their computers with a form open and cannot find where I can turn off the highlights (blue) on the form fields. When I updated to the current version of Acrobat Reader DC, I noticed that I no longer able to open the PDF link in the browser (Chrome or Safari, for examples). It had to open through the Acrobat Reader DC application. Does anyone else experiencing the same thing?

Tengo Windows 7 en mi portatil. Hace poco se me estropeó y un tecnico me lo fomateó. Despues de ya estar bien quise instalar de nuevo el Adobe Acrobat Reader como lo tenía antes, pero al instalarlarlo me sale ERROR DE INSTALACIÓN y no puedo instalarlo. ¿Hay alguna solución?.

My computer is working properly, but Adobe Acrobat Reader is unbearably slow. After highlighting something, I have to wait for around a minute to highlight again. It also takes forever to scroll to the next page. I have been stuck on the same 10 pages for over two hours. Please help.

I have a older version of Adobe Acrobat XI for use in my iMac. Unfortunately it no longer works with the the last two or three OS systems. I'm currently running Big Sur but still no luck does anyone have a work around besides PDF Expert as an option. Although it's a great product it doesn't match the editing capabilities that XI had.  Thanks for your help. Karl
